In November of 2023 we contacted Auburn Leach to train two of our dogs. We agreed on a date for him to pick them up and he was to charge our credit card the deposit when he picked up the dogs. Before the date that he picked them up, we got first hand information from credible sources that told us not to use him. Some of their complaints were he took money from them and didn't provide services, the dogs were in unsanitary conditions, etc. We started to search the internet and found many more serious complaints such as dogs getting hurt and being lost. We contacted Auburn Leach and told him we would not be needing his services and to please not charge our credit card. We did not sign any type of contract with him. He had in fact already charged our card. We have not heard anything from him since and he did not reimburse our $2250.00 deposit.Business response

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We were never told that the deposit was non-refundable. Plus, our understanding was that we would not be charged until services were rendered and the dogs were picked up. Regards, ******* ****
