My 18 year old son took his car to get his windows tinted. He was able to call and get his tint completed same day. No prior calls to SS. The tint had bubbles and dirt under it, as well as one window was not cut properly. SS told him to bring it back after 30 days and they would fix it. Now mind you, he was able to get service he was paying for same day, but was told that he has to wait 3 weeks to get it fixed. This is not something that should have to wait that long, when the job has been paid for and not completed properly. I called to see when next available appointment was for a service to pay for, and was given the choice of next week or the week after. I find that completely unacceptable and the owner wanted to get loud with me over the phone bc he doesn’t want to fix their mistake in a timely manner. Now their solution is for us to bring the car in on April 17th, but instead of fixing it, they want to strip all of the tint off and refund my son his approximately $400. They need to just refund the money. I do not trust this company to touch my vehicle ever again. Refund needs to be sent as soon as possible! We will not be returning there. I do believe that my son paid with his debit card, so they can refund to the card, or contact me and we can work something else out. Please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you!Business response

First of all, as we explained, there is a very specific process to window tint, We can sometimes bring customers in same day for INSTALL service, this is usually because we had a cancellation on that day. We always tell our customers that there are specific wait times for any issues to be fixed, Window tint takes 30 to 45 days to fully cure, which is what we told you and your son, and this is also why we asked to wait until 3 weeks to fix the issue to ensure that some of the issues being observed would or would not resolve on there own. Sun Solutions has been in business since 1998, and this is not because we do shotty work or have poor customer relations, we also understand that sometimes issues happen because films can be unpredictable at times, which is why there is A LIFETIME MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. To the issue of the refund, we did offer to remove the tint and give a refund at the time of the complaint, however you decided you would rather yell and cuss at us because you didnt like our policy or process, again as we explained previously, when we schedule to strip and retint we have to allow several hours for this process, which is also why we asked you to wait the 3 weeks, so we could allow enough time to complete the request. You decided to cancel the appointment. We are happy to provide the refund, but we will not give the refund without removing the window tint. If you decide to persue this refund you will need to contact our office and set up an appointment for the removal.
