In December 2023, my ex-husband and I went to the dealership to look at a 2021 ***** CX 30. I did a little test driving. It was the kind of car I was wanting. So we decided to purchase it. Two months after having a vehicle, I started hearing a noise on the driver side. It was a faint, knocking or rattling another month or so I went by and I knew I had to get some thing done about the noise so I went to one of my local service shops and had someone ride in the car with me. They were thinking it was a sway bar or a strut issue. but said it was most likely covered under the manufacture warranty, since it was only three years old and under ****** miles. I went to the ***** dealership and paid a $200 diagnostic fee for them to tell me it appeared that the car had been in an accident and that they would recommend getting the lift strut repaired. I reached out to Koons GMC to let them know what was going on. But they denied anything wrong with the car and indirectly blamed me for the issues. After some back-and-forth with my ex-husband, they agreed to do the repairs at a reduced cost but when I got the cost estimate it was going to be almost $1000 compared to my local service shop at $718. Once I told him, I couldnt afford that and that is it wasnt my problem that they sold me a bad vehicle, I stopped hearing from them. I really hope they wouldve done the right thing but instead they ghosted me.Ive since gotten the strut issue fixed but unfortunately, it has not stopped all of the problems related to this vehicle. Koons GMC sold me a bad vehicle because theres more work to be done and more diagnostic. its a 2021 it should not be having any issues. I am the third owner of the vehicle so its not been well taken care of and I feel as though this dealership knew of issues with this vehicle but sold it to get a sale. My review is just to warn others of this dealership. Thank you.
