I hired roofing Vermont to put a new roof on my house in Vermont. I do not live there full-time so I selected a date that I could be there when the roofing was done. They came several weeks early when I was not there. ******, the owner, let me know that they would start charging interest if I didn't pay them when the job was finished. I had a friend drive by the house and it looked OK from the outside after two attempts of having them pick up their trash. When I finally made it to Vermont (for the originally scheduled time to have the roof replaced ), there was damage to my ceiling inside the house. I've contacted roofing Vermont many times to fix the issue. Originally, ****** seemed interested in helping. Now she is ignoring me.The damage to my ceiling was caused by roofing Vermont putting on the new roof. I will now have to find another contractor to fix the ceiling since roofing Vermont will not make me whole.Business response

We did replace *********;*********** roof and she did contact me in regards to her ceiling needing to be fixed. I reached out to my lead ************************************ and he had assured me he would contact **** and set up a date with her to go and fix the ceiling. I never intentionally ignored ****, I was under the impression that ***** had reached out to her to address this issue. Now that I am aware that didnt happen I will follow up with **** myself tomorrow to schedule a date that works for her for us to come fix her ceiling. She does not need to hire another contractor to come fix this as it is our responsibility to do so at no charge to her. We take all of our customers complaints/requests seriously and will rectify this problem promptly. Our sincere apologies are extended to **** for her having to believe we ignored her. We will also give **** a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant of her choosing for her having to have gone through this.
