We are having a major problem with this company trying to charge us for their mistake. Giving account numbers over the phone is problematic at best but when a company tries to charge you an *** fee for them writing down a wrong number, that is not acceptable but that is exactly what this company is trying to do. We have offered to send copies of our bank ststement that shows the account had money to cover the charge for the insurance but that was rejected by them. However when the broker entered the correct account number the funds transfered and all was well so we thought. Well we just recieved an invoice for the *** fee so they are still trying to charge us for their mistake. If I could give them a minus star I would.Customer response

This issue has been resolved. Attached is the email I recieved removing the $35.00 charge.Business response

I have reviewed this complaint and our client is correct, he should not have been billed the $35.00.
It appears somewhere during the processing of payment the clients checking account number was inverted which created an insufficient funds fee.This was incorrect. Please note that it was the carrier that added the fee, Not FloodSmart. I contacted the carrier, and the fee has been removed. This matter has been settled to the satisfaction of the client.
