The false front for this business is Sugarbee Apple. I emailed via the address linked in that website a month ago and the business has failed to respond. This is an unresponsive, customer-ignoring business. The slick website makes it appear that the business is customer-engaging, but **********************/Chelan Fruit/"Sugarbee" apparently does not wish to interact with the great unwashed public. / Although it is a small customer problem compared to ********************** being neglectful of farm worker housing and safety, and compared to its being bought out by an international business on **************, the business apparently finds all customers too insignificant to bother with responding to them. / I wrote that I had purchased its apple (the Sugarbee false front) last year and was satisfied, but that I would stop purchasing it it continued to make and use fruit marking stickers that are so adhered that a customer must destroy the surface of the fruit to remove the sticker. That was last month. After the company has rectified its worker safety issues, and become an "overseas" **************** has failed to live up to its slick pretend website, by failing to respond to me, and by failing to use labels that make customer use non-troublesome.

      **********

On November 20, 2023 I called the consumer VJ Dark. VJ was concerned the *** (Price Look Up) labels were too aggressively adhered to the apples he purchased.

I explained to VJ that government policy "COOL" mandates we label the apples with a *** label that will not easily come off in transit from our facility to the store shelves.

COOL or Country Of Origin Labeling requires we label w]each apple so consumers know what they are buying and the country it came from.

VJ was very satisfied with my explanation and just glad someone reached out to him.

We concluded the call on good terms.

      Better Business Bureau:

There is not much to do to respond with so-called "satisfaction" -- except to remind this very responsive business that COMPETITORS do indeed have product code stickers that are easily removed by the consumer/customer.

      Sincerely,

      Vj Dark
