In January of 2024 this company was hired to come to my residence and repair a pipe on my septic system. This company had one person come out and conduct the work and another pick up the cash all the while we were told the health department would be contacted about the completion of the repair. This was not done. All was fine. In May I received a 2nd notice from the health department. They were not notified. Contacted **** he states we need to lie to the heath ************* after they have already recived all of his text messages. Would like us to say they came out to do "landscaping". As his business is in trouble for these kinds of things. Now being completely uncomfortable with the situation and in need to sell our house. We brought out a separate company that states they installed the pipe incorrectly and at a wrong angle. This didnt allow for the correct flow and is backing up in a different portion of the tank. They since January didn't turn our pump back on and may have damaged the tank comprimising the tank concrete. **** has been attempted to be contacted on numerous occasions where he will not respond. He owes us the money he took for a botched job and the cost it took to repair this botched job. The last corrispondance we had with him he wanted to come out and do the inspection himself and only charge us for the pumping of the septic. We have attempted to get ahold of him and come to some type of agreement before going the court rout as that will just compound problems on his end. I hope this doesn't have to go that rout.Initial Complaint

Reached out to company August 25th to see about getting someone scheduled to repair a water line. Received a reply stating someone would be out that Monday Aug 28th to access and provide quote. Sent another email Aug 29th asking if anyone had been out because the ground hadn't been disturbed and we hadn't heard back. Received reply sept 1st stating spot repair turn-key $2500. Please advise. I emailed back asking what that meant. Received response of to remove/replace bad pipe and install HDPE. They said we could also look into replacing whole pipe that it was up to us. We looked around and got other quotes from other companies. $2500 seemed a lot, and with the ground not being disturbed when they said they came out, how did they access and come up with that amount. Received email from them sept 29th checking in to see what we decided. We responded letting them know we went with another company who only charged us $850 to repair. I received a bill in the mail Oct 4th for $328.20. I email them asking why I received a bill for a quote. No response. Emailed again October 9th asking about the bill again. Finally got a response of troubleshot and provide quote and that the invoice was valid. I emailed back the ground was never disturbed so I was charged for you to stare at wet gravel. I said that would have been nice to know up front you charged for estimates, and that no other company charged for estimates. They have not since responded.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: where is this listed and why would you not disclose that when you schedule to come give an estimate. Interesting that you didn't bother to mention it and out of the 4 other companies that came out, you are the only one to charge for an estimate, and one month after the fact at that. Also interesting that the last time you repaired our line in a different spot, you did not charge for an estimate, and only charged $750 for the repair. You even had to cut our slab. The leak wasnt even under the slab this time, and you come back with a $2500 estimate. Seems to me you not only didn't come look at the problem and just threw out a large number, but then were mad I didn't use your service and then send out a bill for an estimate a month after. Very poor business practice. Seems like you are trying to scam customers.
