The previous owner of the house I am currently living in was required to fix all outlets that were not grounded. To achieve this, she hired Tolman Electric **** of ****** Washington. Tolman Electric performed the work and change her $1029.39 stating that they "fixed" the open grounded outlets among other things. Since we purchased the house, the breaker to the room they conducted their repairs has been tripping multiple times a day. One day I smelled burning coming from one of the outlets, I removed the faceplate and found that their fix for open ground was a jumper wire from the neutral load to the ground and burn marks on the sides of the receptacle box. I found 3 other outlets that were the same way, as well as 2 outlets that were still open and never fixed.Business response

WE DID TROUBLESHOOTING ON EXISTING CIRCUITS THAT WERE LISTED AS TWO WIRE SYSTEM WE SPENT ABOUT 3.75 HRS FOR TWO GUYS TO TROUBLESHOOT AND FIX, THERE WAS ONE CIRCUIT THAT TRIPPED NEW GFCI, WE WROTE UP ANOTHER QUOTE TO RUN NEW CIRCUIT BECAUSE OF NOT ABLE TO FIX PROBLEM MOST LIKELY NEUTRALS CROSSED SOMEWHERE. I LOOKED BACK AND WE SHOULD HAVE CHANGED OUR VERBAGE ON WHAT EXACTLY WE FIXED. I TALKED TO MY GUYS AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NO GROUND JUMPED ON THE WORK THEY DID. I AM WILLING TO COME LOOK AT THE WORK AND FIX WHAT IS NEEDED. OLD OWNER SAID SHE HAD A NON LISCENSED ELECTRICIAN IN THERE BEFORE TO DO WORK BEFORE US. PLEASE HAVE CUSTOMER CALL ME AND WE WILL GET THIS FIXED OR PARTIAL REFUND TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. THE PICTURES I SAW LISTED HERE ARE NOT WORK WE DID. I AM WILLING TO HELP THE NEW OWNER OUT.Customer response
