      I went to 1630 hair artisans to get a full head bleach and tone, I was in the chair for 7.5 hours. This is the first time that I have had my hair bleached and my hair is completely fried. My hair had never been this damaged. When I was informed of the price of my full head bleach and tone, I was in complete shock. I am unsure of what to do, but I have had many people and hair stylists telling me that I was DEFINITELY overcharged and the damage done to my hair is irreversible.

      Hello. This is ********* from 1630 Hair Artisans.  I saw 3 files attached with photos,  but could only access one. This is the first I'm hearing of any dissatisfaction with the client. I haven't received any messages as of yet that she has contacted the salon. I'm going to speak with the stylists and try to access the other photos and get back to you with a response ASAP.  Thank you!

      Hello, this is *********, the owner at 1630 Hair Artisans. This client had her hair done on Wednesday and this morning(Friday) I received this complaint. The client did not attempt to contact the salon to express any concerns. Our policy is stated on our website and reads, "IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR SERVICES, PLEASE LET MANAGEMENT KNOW RIGHT AWAY. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION. AS TIME PASSES, OUR ABILITY TO HELP DECREASES, SO PLEASE CONTACT US WITHIN A WEEK OF YOUR APPOINTMENT, SO THAT WE CAN ASSESS THE SITUATION APROPRIATELY. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU TRY TO FIX AN ISSUE YOURSELF, OR IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER SALON WORK ON YOUR HAIR PRIOR TO ASKING US FOR HELP, THE SERVICE CAN NO LONGER BE GUARANTEED." (Sorry for the all caps, I just copied and pasted). We always offer to do whatever we think will help.

      Please see the attached text messages to the client from our stylist. He clearly quoted $100/hour and stated that it could take up to 7 hours. It took a little under 8 hours. He also confirmed with her verbally prior to starting the service. He said, "this is an expensive service, are you sure it's OK.?" Her response was yes. The clients hair had been previously colored at home and required the stylist to use a technique that require all of the hair to be place into foils. It is a time consuming process and it is difficult to predict how long the hair will take to lift. 

      In regard to the claim of damage, I did try to call the client to offer a complimentary bond building service to help the condition of the ends, but the client did not answer. These treatments can absolutely help to repair and restore strength and elasticity to the hair. I will call again to offer. 

      I have included a photo of the client's hair after her service. I will update you if I am able to contact the client.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

      Update- I was able to connect with this client today, 10/10/23 and was able to offer complimentary treatment and a product to use at home to help build the bonds in the client's ends. She has accepted the offer to come in on Friday 10/13/23 for this service. We will assess her hair further at this time.
