At 7:39pm AEDT on 08/10/2022, I placed an order on the Firefly Slime website for a total of three items. Just over one month later, on 14/11/2022, the order was delivered to my home address. However, one of the items that I ordered was not as described on the website and was missing some small but crucial components. Due to those (missing) components, not only was it the most expensive of the three items I had ordered, but the quality of the item I received was significantly different to the quality of the product that was described.On 20/11/2022, I reached out to Firefly Slime to raise this issue, contacting them via the email address provided in the order confirmation message sent by the business on 08/10/2022. Almost a month passed and still I had received no reply, so I sent a follow-up email on 11/12/2022. After another 10 days passed and still I had received no response, I saw a post on Firefly Slime's business Instagram page, prompting me to message the business directly via those means. This was the first time I received any acknowledgement of my complaint from Firefly Slime, and they claimed not to have received any of the correspondence I had sent prior to that date. To this, I provided screenshots of the first email I had sent in November of 2022 outlining the issues with my order. My message was left unopened by the business and once again received no acknowledgement. A few days ago on 29/01/2023, the business posted to their Instagram page again - once again prompting me to send them a direct message to follow up on my query. It has now been almost 4 months since I placed this order and over 2 months since I received the order and submitted my first enquiry, and still no action has been taken by the business to rectify (or even provide adequate recognition of) the situation.
