We hired Valencia Construction last February to remodel our kitchen. We are in a dispute over the material costs. We have requested supporting receipts or a materials list and have not had that provided in full. The materials bill from the plumber was a flat amount of $ **** with no details. The sinks, garbage disposal, faucets and insta hot were paid for by us so the materials needed were somewhat minimal. Not disagreeing that there were some materials but dont think it was $****. In a good will gesture we did pay the first materials bill but want all the back up to pay the final bill. We anticipate a dispute over the final bill. Valencia Construction has decided not to finish the job as it was contracted . They do not have the skills to install a rail. This was not an added item, but known at the time we agreed to move forward on the kitchen. We are trying to get quotes to know what is a reasonable amount to request off. In addition, Valencia Construction did agree to pay for materials to replace drawer fronts, cabinet backs and toe kick that was install incorrectly. I have the receipts. Lastly, Valencia Construction agreed to allow ******************* to install the appliances since they were coming on site and Valencia was having trouble getting back to complete things. The installation costs were in Valencias bid so I made sure I asked if I could substitute ******************* since I had to pay for them to install.I am not sure what documents you need.
