I am a business owner, and AAA Fire stated that a kitchen hood inspection had been scheduled from an email account that I do not have access to. When the technicians arrive at my business, I cancelled the inspection because it was not scheduled by me nor any of our employees. Although I explained my situation to the associates at AAA Fire, I was still asked to pay a late cancellation fee over $200. Because I do not have access to the email account, I've kindly requested a copy of the correspondence between AAA Fire and said email account several times, which have all been ignored. Although I've repeatedly attempted to try to work with AAA Fire to resolve this matter, they have only ignored my attempts and placed a claim with a collection agency to collect the fee for an inspection that my business had no involvement in scheduling.Customer response

AAA Fire Protection had been servicing the hood system for ***************** for 3 years. In April ** reached out to ******** at the same email that we had always used to schedule and exchanged multiple emails to schedule as well as confirm the additional after hour charges. *************************** also called ******** ************ to confirm, not sure if there was a conversation or just a voicemail left, a text was also sent. Upon arrival the staff called owner ***** and he stated he did not want the inspection done and he could have it done for cheaper. ** had techs being paid overtime rates to do this job and with the confirmation emails we thought a cancellation fee was fair. Complaint: 17698396I am rejecting this response because:As shown in the email chain, I am not the account owner of ***************************** I notified AAA Fire that ******** has not been the owner of ***************** since Sep. 2021 and that I hadn't scheduled for any inspection from AAA Fire. I notified the technicians that were on site July 2022 that I did not schedule for an inspection from AAA Fire. The replies from **************************** to AAA Fire were not sent from me. I requested a copy of the emails sent to AAA Fire that led to this situation. I'm failing to understand why a cancellation fee against my business seems warranted even though AAA Fire was notified about the miscommunication on multiple occasions and AAA Fire's business engagement has been with ********** business.

As stated in your last response "I notified the technicians that were on site July 2022 that I did not schedule for an inspection from AAA Fire." Please note that in response to this we (AAA Fire) have not had any technician at this property since April 2022. We have provided the communication between ***************** and AAA and had not been notified of any change in ownership. If you have a copy of any change of ownership correspondence please provide. Otherwise when we scheduled this service and the service was accepted in writing we proceeded and agreed and billed accordingly when services where then refused on site because another competitor was willing to do it for a lower price than what was agreed to in writing prior to the service. You also stated in your last response that "I requested a copy of the emails sent to AAA Fire that led to this situation", yet we provided these emails in our last response.
