      Note**I could not file a complaint during the one year period because i was incarcerated up until Feb 29,2024.On July 24, 2020, I emailed Gregory ********** about a matter related to police officers misconduct on my case, and an illegal recording of phone calls they had conducted.We exchanged about **************************************************** great detail, the things I was alleging, exactly what I wanted to know, and what I was looking for from him. I explained to ********* that if he thought I was correct in my claim, then I would hire him to write an expert report and affidavit to use in court. After explaining everything and answering his questions, ********* led me to believe that he agreed with my assessment and could write the expert report and the affidavit I was looking for. So, I sent him the $6500 payment and those police reports. What I got from him was NOT AT ALL what I expected. First, he sent me an email back listing 5 "mistakes" officers made and told me he didnt know that I was the suspect of the investigation(why that would be relevant to his services, I'm not sure). He was also incorrect about many details in the reports. He went on to criticize me and in his next email and suggested I "focus on getting my head screwed on right" while I was incarcerated. Aside from that, he never even sent me the report or affidavit. He basically misled me into hiring him, then never followed through on any of the services promised. I made several good faith attempts to resolve the misunderstanding amicably and asked that he just please return the remaining $3,900 he said he hadnt used from the $6,500 I paid, or, write the report and affidavit JUST explaining the federal requirements and proper procedure for officers recording phone calls and he could keep the remainder. He did neither. Instead he claimed the unearned money was non-refundable, but he omitted that detail from our discussion of fees and the other almost 20 emails we exchanged.

      This is the second person to complain about the singular event. The latest complainer is the son of the woman who initially complained. The first complaint was resolved. Nothing has changed. Both complainers are disgruntled because they wanted me to return a portion of the NON-REFUNDABLE retainer they sent me. They understood that when they retained me, and this is their way of retaliation. Thank you for your time reviewing this again.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      1) ********* never provided either the opinion report nor the affidavit we agreed to prior to me retaining him. I have attached the email where this was outlined in our orginal discussions and agreed upon.

      2) ********* never resolved the issue with me nor my family, yet claims to have done so with my parent. I would love for him to upload proof supporting his claim.

      3) In almost 20 emails exchanged between Gregory ***** and I before hiring him, he never disclosed that the retainer was non-refundable. Again, If he had, I welcome him to upload the email where I was told that.

      So,  not only did he not fulfill the original services promised, but then wouldn't provide a refund or partial refund of the remaining funds he admitted to having left after his research.

      There was no contract or written agreement- which I suppose was my first mistake- but I wasn't aware that I needed one. He only sent me his bio, his CV(education) and his fee schedule that listed how much different aspects of his services costed( its didnt say anything about payments being non-refundable). We only had a verbal understanding/ agreement about what was expected, which I outlined in my very first email. (See attached emails)

      **Photo attached ** my very 1st email to ********* stipulating what I would be hiring him for: a critical analysis report of findings, and an affidavit. He did not deliver either of those things. Therefore, technically, a FULL refund should be due for unfulfilled services, but Ive been trying to be reasonable and have only asked for a partial refund. (Since presumably he spent time reviewing the documents)
