I had an appointment today at 9 am for hair color. I arrived at the address listed on the businesses website at 8:55 so I walked around looking for the place. I could not find the actual building so I called the phone number twice thats listed on the business website and got a voicemail both times. I then found an email on their website and sent them an email. No response. I walked around for 20 minutes trying to find the place and unable to. 39 minutes later, I receive a message from the owner *** telling me that she charged me $220 for a no show fee. I explained to her that *** been trying to reach out to her because I was there just couldnt find the building, I sent her screenshots as proof of the calls and emails made in an attempt to reach her. She told me that the phone number and email I reached out to are not correct so she is still charging me. But if that information is not correct then why is it on their contact information? This is all very misleading information and I do not agree with the charge since I never received any services.Customer response

I have sent an email to you as well, But I never did charge her for her no showed appointment. So I dont understand why she even sent this in.
She didnt fulfill her promise to the cancellation policy. and then also left a card on file that didnt have funds on it. so there was no charge.
Please let me know what else I need to do.

In their response to my complaint, The business says they never charged me. However, I have an invoice from the business for $220. Does this mean they are no longer charging me?

This is the terms she agreed to when she booked her appointment, also she has 2 files in my system and HAS been to this location before, she booked under different name but still used her same phone number so I was able to pull up her previous appointments, and our previous conversations through text. She also has communicated with me through Instagram as well so she had plenty of ways to get a hold of me to ask questions or if she had concerns about how she forgot where my building was.
I told her through text communication that I was going to send her the invoice for the appointment that she did not show up to. But at the end of the day it is up to her whether she pays for it or not. But she will always have an outstanding balance due at my place of business, per the terms and agreements she signed and agreed to while booking and then failed to follow through with.
