I have attempted to contact the Broker ********************* whom I assume is the one in charge over at the leasing office. I have reached out to her multiple times in reference to a balance that populated on my account right before my husband and I vacated the premises. As soon as I discovered the balance I attempted to reach out to Ms/**************. I tried calling however I was instructed to email her. I sent an email to her, however I never got a response from her. I called again and was instructed to send out another email to her. By this time it had nearly been two weeks since I attempted to talk with her about the balance issue. Three weeks has gone by and the only thing I was told is that the balance was charged to our deposit. I attempted to speak with someone again and I was told that they could not help me and that Id have to submit written documentation of my dispute along with documentation to support why Im disputing the charges. I was NEVER able to speak with anyone about the issue. This company seems to be very shady in how they run things. Since this incident she has piled on even more charges like a PET DEPOSIT fee DESPITE us not even occupying the PROPERTY!! Something has to be done about this. We paid our bill and made sure we communicated with them about everything. We provided them our vacate notice and turned in our keys on the day that we stated wed vacate. I included a screenshot of the balance on our account that we paid off on the 27th of DEC. The second screenshot shows the Balance AFTER the fact stating we had a past due balance since Dec 1st. This portal forces you to pay the outstanding balance on your account. You cannot pick and choose what bills to pay on. So I strongly feel that something suspicious is going on. This needs to be looked into. No one at the company is willing to talk with us and explain a break down of this outstanding balance.Business response

Hello,
I have attached your full ledger. You owed $400 due to going on a month to month lease. Please see attached lease renewal it is very clear your rent would raise for going on a month to month. You were not charged any additional fee/deposits not on your lease. I believe you are referring to funds you already paid at move in that were reflected on your statement but this is just an accounting of the funds-not a charge. Please refer to the ledger attached.. If you need a copy of your lease, let me know but the ledger also reflects all move-in charges. I cannot attach your lease here. I have maxed out our attachments.
I have only received one email from you on 01/06 regarding the additional $400. You called the office the same day or the day before you posted this complaint.Otherwise no additional attempts were made.
I have attached your preliminary statement and your final statement regarding your deposit refund. Please look them over and email me at ********************************** if you have any questions. The cleaning bill was not available so I had to send a preliminary statement so I was within the 21 days required by law. Then a final statement was sent when we received the cleaning invoice. These were both mailed to your forwarding address on file.
