      Our HOA hired CMV some years ago not because they were recommended or had great reviews, but because they were cheap. Well, you know the saying - You get what you pay for. This turns out to be never more true than with this organization.Our neighborhood has truly suffered for it. The sense of community and pride of ownership that we once had is greatly diminished. They provided no guidance or worse yet, inaccurate guidance on legal matters and budgeting. They constantly made accounting mistakes and had to be repeatedly reminded to send the financials. Homeowners were continually frustrated and complaining about the lack of response to inquiries.The icing on this rotten cake was when our HOA was confronted with a monetary and maintenance crisis. Did they then step up, stick by their long time client and actually earn their money? No chance. What they did was they quit on us with 60 days notice at our most vulnerable moment.On their way out the door they got one last blunder in. They had cashiers checks issued on our account AFTER the relationship was terminated. When they realized this was yet another error, did they return the funds to our account? No, that would be to easy. They shredded the checks and closed our accounts without notice or permission. We are still trying to recover those funds.It is a blessing for us that they are gone and we will rebuild but let this review be a warning to any unsuspecting HOA out there. The rate may be less but so will everything else be as well. You will pay one way or another with these people in charge.
