This business is shady. They charge unnecessary fees for most of their products and services. They treat you like a number, not as a person. Im an ex employee, and have seen what theyre like from the inside, and I left due to their over worked conditions they put their employees through. They want your money, and will find the most snake like way to get it. Do not bank here.Review from Emma C

1. My checking account say "rewards." I opened the about 6 yrs ago, without receiving rewards. When I asked about it, I was told that the rewards were for certain accounts, not like the one I have, yet, my checking account reads, "rewards." What is going on?2. 7/29/22 drove up to drive-thru: no one was at the window. First I waited, giving someone time to notice me. After a few minutes, I rang the service ****. When no one responded, I rang again, several times. I noticed that every one on the teller line, whether busy or not noticed me, but ignored me, including the bank manager (did he have anything to do with the tellers ignoring me?) I did not know he was the manager, until the teller told me, when I went inside. While doing my transaction, the teller told me that the drive-thru **** can be heard everywhere in the bank. I am a elderly, dark skinned Latina. Did any of this have to do with everyone ignoring me (don't thing so, because I have been there before). Was it at the request at the manage, who I so floating among the teller line. I know that all saw me,. But still ignored me.Review from Tyson B

My car was totaled 5 months ago and Columbia credit Union had been working with my insurance company to finish the settlement amount. I had to micromanage them every step of the way. If I did not call and ask them to complete a step in the process it would not get done.5 months after the accident they finally accepted the payment from my insurance company and then charged me almost $3,000 to my loan amount. When I called to ask what this was about they said they could not verify that I had insurance and needed me to provide proof of insurance or be charged $3,000. Apparently they are unable to see how ridiculous it is to ask if I have insurance after accepting a payment amount from my insurance that they had been working with for the past 5 months. Needless to say I will not be doing business of any kind with Columbia credit Union ever again. This was just one of the many horrible interactions I've had with the company which is why I finally decided to make a public review so that other people know this is a very shady organization.
