Porsche -On August 22nd we took our vehicle to Global Car Care for an oil change. The car had no current pressing mechanical issues. *There was a previous coolant leak that was worked on by multiple shops and was resolved except for when the vehicle was driven in sport mode. -While the technician was working on the car, an alert came on for low coolant level. -We got the car back and looked over the report which noted a coolant leak and recommended a transmission fluid flush. -We called the shop to talk about the findings and asked if the technician added coolant. He said he had topped off the coolant with Porsche spec fluid. We had been using an ethenyne glycol fluid in the vehicle due to the previous leak and were concerned about mixing the two fluids.-The tech assured us that we would be fine.-A few days later, we noticed the car running hot while towing our boat.-August 30th our car over heated while driving through the mountains.-August 31st we brought the vehicle back to the shop and were told our head gasket is blown.Business response

On August 22nd ***** had brought his vehicle into Global Car Care for an oil change. We serviced the vehicle and did an inspection on vehicle. Customer had stated that vehicle has had a coolant leak that no shop had been able to figure out. Upon inspection we mentioned to the customer on his inspection report that there was a noticeable coolant leak and he should have it looked at it and get it diagnosed. We put an estimate for coolant leak testing that was on repair order which the customer declined. It is **********************'s policy that coolant and all fluid levels are checked on every vehicle brought to our shop. Coolant level was found to be low, which was another reason we suggested coolant leak testing. Coolant was added to vehicle. We use a universal coolant which is used in most all vehicles. Coolant is an ******** glycol fluid, Pic is attached. No action was taken to disturb any of the coolant system besides topping off due to declining of coolant pressure test. It was explained to the customer that when the vehicle has a present leak, the leak is always going to be there and especially under load or towing the leak is only going to get worse.Customer response
