June 2023 I sent my ******** Switch to the company uBreakiFix (PWR PLAY YAKIMA LLC) in Yakima to be fixed. (I live in ***********, **.)I spoke to ******, who talked me into signing up for AsurionHome+ on June 28, 2023, so I can get a better deal. He said he'd send the switch back & for me to wait at least 45 days to file a claim & the insurance will be active. I ended up sending my ******** Switch back to this company on September 6, 2023.I spoke with ****** who informed me it wasn't a charging port issue & also let him know what ****** told me. I spoke to ****** on & off for months. He'd tell me he'd get to it. But they're busy & that he's working on the issue, then he said he'd get a working Switch back to me if I agreed to let them practice soddering techniques on it since the new owner ******* wanted that. I agreed as long as I got a working Switch back, I'd be happy. After months of ****** telling me the same excuses, I called Asurion in late October to see if they could help me solve the issue or if I could just get a refund for my **************** They said they couldn't help me because it was a pre-existing condition & that uBreakiFix would need to resolve it since it was their mistake.Early December I started speaking with *****, who told me he was the new owner) I explained the whole ************** said he'd figure it out. I told him to just send back my Switch if they weren't going to fix it. He gave me similar excuses repeatedly & blamed ****** for taking so long on it. On February 7, 2024 ***** told me he was sending my working Switch to me overnight & would text me the tracking #. He never did & now won't answer my calls. This company has had my Switch since September 6, 2023. Wgich is a ridiculous amount of time to be dealing with this. I think their intentions started out good, but I've been repeatedly led on & lied to & now ignored. I want a *********** non-working Switch back or I just want a working Switch back like I was promised.
