******** Buildings regional manager contacted about warranty work. Every time this manager is contacted regarding completing the warranty a reason is given for the delayed work. Usually different reasons. No response from **************** other than to continue to work with the regional manager which has been unproductive. Documented texts and emails to show the continual contact without results. Previously other complaints have been submitted to the BBB from other customers who are experiencing similar issues of the company not addressing warranty work, etc. They have also tried other avenues of contact (as working with the regional manager has been unproductive) with no results from contacting the **************** in ********, ***There appears to be several of us customers having issues. Social media may assist us and enable us to work together as a group to find other avenues of actions to pursue in finding solutions. Ultimately a viable contact to move this forward is a start.Business response

On February 1, 2024, Walters Buildings signed an agreement with *************************** to perform a warranty repair on her property. (It is attached) The customer was concerned about her property as it is a very wet site and getting equipment onto her site to perform the work is a challenge. We noted in the contract that "Customer understands that Heavy Equipment may be needed to complete the repair resulting in damage to the lawn, shrubs, trees, etc & although Walters shall attempt to keep damage to a minimum the cost of the repair is not included by the paint company or Walters."
The project is located in *******, *********. We have had to wait for the snow to melt and improved ground conditions to allow access to the site. As of June 3 - that still is not feasible without all of the equipment sinking into the site. We are in the midst of our 3rd wettest spring on record and need a substantial dry spell to allow for work with the required equipment. The material to perform the work has been ready for 3 months. This should have been communicated more clearly to the customer. At this time, the project site is not ready for construction.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[******** Buildings has had over half a year in 2022, all of 2023 and 5 months in 2024 to start/complete the warranty work. This area had unseasonably low rain levels in 2023 which was the best time to complete the repairs. The ******** contact person was notified by me several times throughout 2023 about how dry the work area was (also a ******** employee lives within 4 miles of the work site/aware of near drought conditions in 2023). ******** has indicated, per the contract, they will take reasonable care on preventing yard damage during this warranty repair. They had several opportunities in 2023. Customers having to wait for over 24 months without any positive onsite progress would consider ******** efforts unreasonable. Thus this and other actions are taking place.]

i have reached out to them several times about issues with the building regarding the fading of the roof metal and the deterioration of the gutters. They have promised me numerus times that they will be out to fix the problem and never show up. I have even reached out to the president of the company with no response. I feel they are trying to postpone this until the warranty runs out. i even had a pressure washing *** come out at my expense and it still would not come clean. the building looks bad and we are trying to run a wedding and event center which is not acceptable to customers. This is no way to run a company. Thanks you for your helpBusiness response

Our apologies to **************** for the delay.
As we have communicated to him, his concerns are covered by Walters Buildings outstanding warranty and we have a signed agreement to perform the work for him at no cost dated 6/28/2021. Unfortunately, we have a large backlog of projects under contract that need to be completed before we move on to ******************** project. Like many contractors, we are dealing with staffing shortages and supply chain issues and are caring for our customer in the order of their contract date.
