  I signed a contract with this company on 11/20/23 and paid a deposit of $13,500 on 1/15/24, paid $11,250 on 01/17/24, $1,000 on 02/12/24, $1,000 on 02/13/24, $13,000 on 4/11/24 totaling $39,750 out of $40,250 for the entire job. The contract states the work would take between 4-5 weeks and I was told half of the total for the work was a deposit to get on the schedule and the other half would be due upon completion. They did show up at first a handful of times and did half days or 2-3 hour work days with one person. In the contract the work that needed to be done was a bathroom remodel, washer dryer hookup, a new window in the bathroom, flooring in the office, livingroom, dining room and hallway, and a vent out into the office. So far they have only completed the shower, toilet, vanity, lighting and vent in the bathroom, and floor in the bathroom. They have not done the trim work or window in the bathroom. As far as the rest of the house they have only subfloored half of the space that is getting replaced. They stopped showing up. I keep getting told they will come and they dont. I have asked several times to talk to someone about getting my money back so I could hire someone that will come and finish it and they havent responded to that. They also wont tell me if or when Im on a schedule. As of right now they are holding up my in home business Im trying to start as well as holding up me being able to sell my home.

  While we rarely have issues with projects being prolonged for such a period of time as has occurred with ********************* project we would be willing to negotiate a refund.  The original scope of work had been changed (with a signed change order.). The addition of the additional work added significant lead times which we are unable to do anything about.  While we apologize for the delay, we do not set the schedules for our outside contractors (flooring.). Please send us an email and we can refund any balances for work that they were not yet able to perform.  This will require a signed change order/cancellation which we can provide.
