I had found an electrician online to install 2 lights that I purchased. A time for installation was set at 7:30am on9//20/2023. Promptly at 7:30 2 people came introduced themselves, and announced that they were here to install the light fixtures. After installation I payed them, and they left. Approximately, ***** minutes later 2 other electricians showed up and announced that they were here to install the light fixtures. I apologized to them and said that the job was completed and I thought that it was done by their company. I showed them a ceiling fan that I wanted installed and they stated that they would have to take the Sheetrock off the wall, and I decided not to do that. They left. On 9/21/2023 I received a bill for $200.00. These people were in the house for 2 minutes and did nothing at all. I was confused to say the least. No labor was provided at all. Please help me with this bill as I dont think that I should have to pay it.Thank you,*************************Business response

We received a call for a service call on September 1st .
Our dispatcher scheduled the work to be completed on September 15th.
On September 14th our dispatcher called at 11:00 am to remind the customer that we were coming on the next morning.
As the customer stated we showed up to install the fixtures and was told someone else had already installed the 2 fixtures but, had a ceiling fan to install. Out technician looked at what was needed to be done and explained that sheet rock would need to be removed to install the fan and the customer didnt want to have that done.
We submitted the billing for the minimal service call on September 20th and heard no reply.
We received a call on Friday the 22nd of September at 10:09 am about being billed and the concern was given to the service manager to reply back to.
We then received the BBB complaint in the mail on Saturday September 24th.
Our service manager had written on the billing invoice to credit the amount before he even saw the BBB inquire.
It is our customary procedure to charge a minimum amount when we are called to a customers home.
When that customer had someone else scheduled to do the work as well if we would have gotten a call back we could have averted going out there completely.
If the customer called us before reaching out to the BBB we could have remedied the situation. Note (the complaint was filed on the 21st and we got the call on the 22nd of September).
Please reach out to me so we can discuss future communications on this unfortunate situation.
We can then credit the customers account.
Thank you,
