Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, the issue the customer is experiencing needs to be addressed with the manufacturer. The branch manager has been in contact with the customer to relay this information and to try and help make the connection.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      [Please type your response here.]
We have contacted the manufacturer and they are not responding. As a distributor of the product do you not have any responsibility in supplying a defective product?
you sell a product and have no warranty for items that are defective??
when we first spoke to ************************* he said they would fix our issue and now he is just not responding to our calls and going back on what he told us he would do?

      Regards,

We bought a new construction house in 2016. The windows began to have problems soon after purchase; cracking, moisture, ice and mold between the glass and low-e spotting. The company that sold the windows to the builder (who directed us there) was ABC Supply. They quickly repaired the first several windows, but began to stall on repairing others which were and are still under warranty. Their hesitancy allowed three windows to need repair at the same time. There have been dozens of texts, phone calls unanswered, messages left not to be returned and even a visit to the store to try to expedite the process. A window the wrong style was brought out and one that was 6 inches too short. One window was measured 4 different times with those measurements having disappeared into the ozone each time I called to ask about the progress. Two of the windows were replaced after over 3 years and the third has still not been addressed. It had moisture and ice crystals between the glass when the weather was below freezing in 2023 and I sent a picture of it to the salesman. He said that wasn't proof enough, the ice and moisture could have been on the outside. I asked the him why I would want something repaired that wasn't broken? It had moisture this January but no ice because it wasn't cold enough. It isn't our fault the windows failed and I would like ABC Supply and the manufacturer to honor the warranty and repair the window plus any others that might have a problem before the warranty runs out. I don't think that's too much to ask.

The branch manager of the window and door division for ABC Supply in ***** replaced and installed my window which he said was done with no help or compensation from the manufacturer, Ply Gem.  I appreciate his effort to satisfy an honest warranty claim even though it took an extremely long time.

I have proof of the ABC supply company employee damaging my driveway with a forklift. I contacted them and spoke to a *** and he promised me a check for $2400 the cost of the repair I got a quote for. It's been over 2 months almost 3 and still no check. No one is taking my calls and I keep getting the runaround. They damaged my property on Mar 12 2024. I want my $2400 check written out to me.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Upon further discussion with the Branch Manager, resolution and payment has been submitted to the construction company that was designated by the customer to quote and complete the repair work. The construction company will be in contact with the customer soon, then send confirmation to the Branch Manger once the work has been completed.

On June 19, 2023 I had roofing materials delivered to *************************************** from *** roofing supply #*** in *****, **. The order number is # ******** and Customer # ********. I paid $8367.94 for the order to include $1234.00 for freight and delivery. When the roofing was delivered, the truck was parked on the edge of the driveway and damaged the driveway. I initially contacted the contractor that I went through, but he never gave me any updates. Towards the end of July I contacted the store and emailed the information to *************************** at store ***. I emailed the pictures of the delivery truck and the damage and got very little response. I emailed back multiple times with no response until December 2023. Then I filled out the negative comment form on *** Website and Within a couple of days received a message from a store manager at ABC supply who put me in contact with *******, the store manager of Store *** in *****, ** in Dec 2023. Since I have been in contact with *******, I have received nothing but delays and excuses. At one point in April, shortly after I submitted another negative complaint through the website, some people showed up at my house to supposedly give ******* the estimate and to do the repairs. Since then, ******* has said he cant get in touch with them and still more delays. I would like to get my damaged driveway repaired and to be made whole.

The manager has tried multiple times to find a resolution by working with contractors to fix the driveway but none of them have been willing to do the work for one reason or another. He has been in contact with the customer a number of times but is at a loss for how to resolve this.

This company delivered our shingles from a roof replacement due to a hailstorm. The driver came out and extended his rigging with one rig directly in our yard. Put no board or anything to disperse the weight. Now we have a big square divet in our yard. My stepdaughter almost fell due to it with the baby. My girlfriend has as well. They will not repair it. Talked about throwing down some seed and we water it. That will not fix the problem. Plus, when speaking to the 'manager' ****, very rude and actually invited us to file on BBB. Terrible company, workmanship, and totally non professional.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delivery of the shingles and the subsequent damage to the customers yard. The Branch Manager has opened a case with the ABC Supply claims department to assist with additional resolution.

In July 2023 ordered a metal roof for the amount quoted. The load was picked up and we assumed the load was all there. On the job we ran way short the entire back half of the roof. We ended up having to order more and was billed another $10,555.67. When the load arrived that was missing most of the order and the panels were cut shorter than ordered. This caused us to have to piece together a home in the park city area to try and dry in before the snow came in and there was no access. Spoke to the branch manager that investigated that both loads were short. They reached out to the manufactuer and they were supposed to give a credit on the account and they would give us a credit a total of $4,400 as of to date that has not happened. They billed us for the 2nd load and we were never given credit for the first load that was short. And we never walked off the job due to the supply yard and we were not paid our final check. We shouldn't have to pay anything for the 2nd load.

I spoke with the manager and unfortunately, there does not seem to be a good resolution. There is fault by all 3 parties involved but the least of which was ABCs.

7/28/23 I ordered and paid in full for a door from ABC Supply. The door arrived late and unassembled; door was suppose to be factory assembled as quoted. Having to assemble the door myself only to find out that the stationary door and operational door hardware were both located on the same side rendering the door useless. I revisited ABC Supply and spoke with the Branch Manager (************) who stated he would order the warranty parts for this brand new $3,900.00. I asked the ** if a new door could be shipped, that I could return the door that was incorrect to which he said no, the warranty parts was the only path forward, that he (ABC Supply) would lose money on this order if it were to be a whole new door. ** stated I would hear from him by COB 10/30 or at the latest the next day. No word by 10/31 I contacted the ** to which he stated I was hounding him and still no date could be provided for this very time sensitive issue. 11/1/23 the ** called and stated parts would be in by 12/12. 12/12 has passed and still no door, not even a date. As of 12/18 after speaking with the District Manager and still no delivery date, compensation for my energy cost loss, ***************** of my family and home from the elements and intruders. Had the door been factory assembled as quoted by both *************** the quality control department at ******** would have been able to spot this flaw in their workmanship and make the necessary repairs before the door was shipped alleviating this entire ordeal. The fact that I am awaiting parts (not a new door for a problem that was not caused by the customer) for a brand new $3,857.66 door is unreasonable. The door has been paid in full since 7/28/23 and to date I have not been provided the product or a date at the very least. My family is being placed in an ongoing unsafe situation, my home is unsecure, my home is a the will of the weather elements, my home is a potential insurance hazard as the door is not in the opening.
