Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.***** or Acculift did not disclose the rock landscaping that was present at the time of his bid or his 2 day work on the property, as an issue.
By not communicating this he left the job and work to fail. As if he can run from the work quality and guarantee by hiding behind fine print."did not fill in around the edges of affected areas with soil and there are large
rocks against the edges that actually acts as a sieve to let water flow underneath the slabs. By not filling in the
area to the top of the concrete the warranty is null and void."*****, please send to my address, the original estimate and scope of work, that I signed to show your response claim."The steps in question I lift purposely higher at my own expense."Where is that listed in any invoice? You never discussed this with the original work or any follow up."As of last year when i looked at these theywere still code compliant and when I looked again in spring they were still compliant."
When did you come to see the property?Did you communicate that you were coming to the property again?Did you not, then in essence trespass, if you did not alert me by phone, text, or knocking on the front door of my home, where this work is in question? You state " it isn't far from meand only takes 20 minutes"So you state "not being too far for your to stop or do the work,".Send me the detail that shows "all correspondence shall be through email,"And when we talked on the phone or left voicemails, or texted, you replied via text on 9/7/21021 at 2:08pm.So there is confirmation that you respond outside of email. In that text you state "**** I got your message it's been extremely busy I will come look at that and if it's warranty I will take of it I probably won't be calling I will just show up and do it"Well show up then, announce your visit, and do the re-pump in the 2 years you offered.Send me the June 3 follow that he claims to have done. "I responded to ****************** on June 3 and he did not respond back."I have a text I initiated to you on June 3, but no response from you.I contacted you via phone and text.
My phone calls to you and messages I left on 8/1/, 8/27, 9/3, and 9/7 where not returned. You did admit getting them and then texted me back on 9/7/2021, so you do communicate by more than just email. And you did state, within the warranty period, that you would fix it. Yet you didn't fix it.
Nor did you respond within your own 2 year warranty, which is not my fault.Let me know when you will be here for a re-pump correction and we can move forward properly. Thanks*********************************
Regards,
