Scam business. They charged me $50 to book an appointment and when I called to confirm they asked me to schedule an appointment and give them more money to book another appointment. The employee who I spoke with then pretended to be ANOTHER employee and then the superintendent. I want my money back!Business response

The following statement is a copy of the email sent to this individual after not being able to reach her on the phone to address this matter:
Dear ********************,
It has come to our attention that there was a misunderstanding between you and one of our office staff members. You booked an appointment via our website on Sunday 9/18/2022.Your appointment was confirmed via the website for Monday 9/19/2022 at 11:30 am. You called our office to confirm your appointment at 9:25am and 9:31am today and our receptionist could not find you listed on our clinic schedule.
For your information,our webpage schedule does not automatically synchronize with our clinic schedule, this is done manually by one of our receptionists when she comes in the morning. She starts to plug in the online scheduled patients into our clinic schedule manually at 9:00am. When you called at the noted times, your information was still not entered. Patients are entered by time scheduled and your appointment was not until 11:30am.
It is our understanding that when you spoke with one of our receptionists, and she was unable to find you on our clinic schedule, you accused our office to be a fraudulent business. This is a very strong accusation that we do not appreciate.This is not only false, but malicious.
Two members of our medical staff tried to call you, not once but twice, last called was placed at 1:07pm. In both instances you did not allow them to talk, nevertheless explain to you what had happened. In both instances you hanged up the phone on them.
We want to make clear that Alliance Foot & Ankle Clinics, is a very well-established Medical Practice that follows all City, all State and all Federal Regulations for both ** & **. We not only serve the community in the greater ********* Area, but also in the ************* Area, with great success. Our doctor is a well-respected surgeon in our community and its very much sadden by the misunderstanding and your accusations.She has been working hard as a solo practitioner since 2014 to provide the community with a friendly and state of the art care outside the Hospital Facilities.
Im very sorry that you were so quick to judge our clinic based on a scheduling misunderstanding. Seeing the way, you handled this matter; we can conclude that our practice is not a good fit for you. At Alliance Foot & Ankle Clinics we pride ourselves in not only providing the best care to our patients, but also our patients enjoy a very peaceful, pleasant, and friendly atmosphere.
Although against our online policies, we will refund you the whole amount paid via our website, and we hope you are able to find the care you are looking for soon.

Hello,
We have offered the prospect patient to refund the money, but the customer refused to provide the last four digits of the credit card she used when she completed her online booking. We have these number on file and we only use it to verify the transaction. Customer requested a check, but we process the refunds to the same method of payment used.
We have located the transaction and we have requested our credit card processor to issue a complete refund. Please wait about seven business days. Contact your credit card company to follow up on your refund. We are very appalled that this customer did not provide us with the opportunity to solve this matter. We certainly wish her the best. Thanks
