We hired ********************* on 5/31/22 to repair and restore our side porch and back deck. we paid him $1344.80 upfront then on 6/13 he asked for another $560.00 due to a credit card issue he was having. he showed up on 6/2/22 to start the tear down process (did not work one 8 hr day on the days he did show up) came back 6/3/22 but did not work on the weekend. Worked a few hours on 6/6 then advised was sick. Worked partial days on 6/13, 6/14, 6/15 and has not been back since. Stopped responding until I put a message on ********* now has stopped responding all together. We asked him to come get his tools, return our rails and provide an itemized **** along with receipts and a refund. the contract he provided has in invalid phone number and email address. We told him we were having a get together at the end of July but never advised we wanted this project to take 2 months to complete as the side porch is our main door. He advised it should only take a week to complete (however he did run into a few problems and had to redo the whole side porch) . This still should not be taking this long to complete.
