            Horrible business ethics should get 0 stars. I paid ****** via credit card in June '23 for my 16 yr old son. Shortly after, I got into a brutal no-fault accident and my son said that he wasn't ready or comfortable in getting his license yet. When I called ****** a couple of weeks later, he said he would send me a refund check. 4 months later, the check still hadn't arrived. I texted him as a friendly reminder, and he said he "forgot and will send me the check the following week". Well, another 4 weeks just went past....still no check. I just left him a voicemail and text...this time I wasn't as courteous. I called his local police department in ****** this morning and they strongly advised me to call my attorney and open up a civil suit against him first thing Monday morning and bill the court costs to ****** as well. It's truly sad that a business owner conducts himself this way and leaves me no choice!I sincerely hope this message gives others stong pause before paying for his services.Best of luck!

            New Direction Driving School Response

            **** signed his son up for drivers education with my school. When signing him up, both **** and his son e-signed a contract. That contract is approved by the State of ********* and every driving school is required to have these two statements:1. The school will not refund any tuition if the school is ready, willing, and able to fulfill its part of the agreement.2. This agreement constitutes entire contract between the school and the student and no verbal statement or promise will be recognized.I agreeed to review his contract and see if I could work something out for him, but he needed to wait. I should have kept all of his money and let him take me to court so he would have those expenses also.Now he is using social media, internet and the BBB to slander my company. This is ridiculous!
