Had Hurlburt come out to look at an electrical issue in my bathroom. I don't have a problem with the technician who unsuccessfully tried to find the source of the trouble. But, I do have a problem with the bill for a one hour service call that did not fix the issue. Does $348.36 seem excessive? I think so. Will not be calling Hurlburt for any electrical issues and I now question if I could use them for any plumbing or heating work.

Appalled and ashamed by the whole Hurlburt team for their negligence on my furnace installation, which caused a gas leak that went unnoticed for five days and if it not for some of the gas escaping outside through a return vent, my home, children, and mother could have exploded. From the sales and service team putting me on the schedule and not pulling a permit prior to their installation, to the installers who did not get the fitting on right, to the leak glue product they used to ineffectively test for gas leaks, to the absolutely HORRIBLE way I was treated throughout the nightmare. This is not a company that can be trusted. They advertise several different numbers to different locations (**********, ******), but all the numbers go to *********, their only staffed office. They advertise 24/7 service, but they had no one on-call to service ****** after hours when needed. They have hundreds of positive reviews on ****** because they harass their customers for them after each visit.

On 9/26/23 I had them come over for a tuneup on my furnace and a problem with my central AC the technician supposedly used a cable type camera and told me my AC coil was plugged up with hair and my heat exchangers were corroded and were leaking carbon monoxide into my house.He also said my blower motor was noisy and wearing out and he showed me pictures on his laptop He also told me my AC capacitor was bad and wanted to charge me$355 to replace it. I called another contractor for a second opinion and a technician came over on 9/29/23 to check my furnace they dismantled it and checked the AC coil there was minimal hair on it which he cleaned off then he looked at the primary and secondary heat exchangers they were spotless the pictures the technician from Hurlburt were not even of my furnace!! A salesman from Hurlburt had told me that they had a sale where if you bought a new furnace and AC you would get $1500 off plus a $1200 flash sale. I had the second contractor give me a quote for a similar size furnace and Ac and they wanted $150 less with no sale going on. I did not need a new furnace and AC the second contractor fixed my problem which was a bad capacitor on The AC the part was $14 **********

ac went out, a capacitor was replaced with the outside unit, was charged 375.00 dollars, the part was 299.00. that same part is 24.99 off amazon, wont get my bussiness again

Hurlburt Heating, AC & Plumbing saved my credit card information from a one-time authorized down payment, and subsequently processed an UNAUTHORIZED payment/purchase without my consent or knowledge, for a service that was under dispute for faulty workmanship - damage to my property. This was clearly an illegal and intentional act. Yes, they apologized after I called them out, but when you hand over your credit card info and they break that trust, that's a sign of an unscrupulous business. Beware if you ever provide them with any credit card information.
