I recently called Associated Banks customer service number inquiring how to go about transferring funds from a prepaid **** card to my Associated Checking account. The representative with whom I spoke was very friendly and helpful and stated that upon visiting a branch office, I would be able to do ******** (4 Nov 2024) I visited the branch office in *******, ** at about 3:00p to complete my transfers. Both the ******, ******, and manager, ***** told me blatantly they were unable/unwilling to help. I explained to both of them that I had previously inquired with the corporate customer service agent and that this transaction was indeed, possible. They continued to be unwilling to assist me.After leaving the branch office, I contacted customer service once again, and was once again assured that my request could be completed at a branch office, and was advised to return once again tomorrow.I have been an Associated Bank customer for at least twenty years and this is absolutely frustrating. I live 20 minutes away (one way) so this is an incredible waste of time as well as vehicle fuel. I understand that unfamiliar tasks can be challenging, but as a former business manager myself, the unwillingness and ineptitude displayed both by the teller and manager is absolutely abhorrent from a customer service perspective. Im asking for compensation for my time (80 minutes of drive time), vehicle fuel mileage (4 trips @ 11mi = 44 miles), and for a corrective action plan from the branch manager to ensure future customers will be spared this gross waste of time and resources.

June2024 a claim was put in for the gap insurance. *** has sent in the sales contract showing the gap insurance was purchased along with the gap insurance order. I've been in contact with *** who states they have nothing else to send in. At this point they have stopped answering my calls. I have also filed a complaint against ***. I fill like I am a consumer that is caught in between these two companies. I have nothing else I can do or submit. I was told Associated bank needs a "Buyers Order" and that it is different than the sales contract. Which is what *** sent in. **** stated he doesn't know what a buyers order is. I did ask for an example of one and was told *** should know what it is. Again, I have no other options and don't know what else to do to resolve this issue.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I would like to be provided with any documents that were provided from *** that were sufficient to process the claim. Was there a "buyers order" that was be requested or was it the sales contract showing I purchased  gap insurance?

      Regards,

I had a bank account with ********************** bank it got hacked. The bank did fix my problem I closed my account and opened a new bank account June 13. September comes I go and get a money order and left enough money in so I can't take care of my 3 kids, I go to the grocery store and get declined come to find out my old account was negative and they took my money out of my new account to fix it. I call the head branch and they tell me I have to contact some hotel from out of state to fix it. I contacted this hotel and they tell me to reach there supervisor I the. Get a call from the hotel the next daystating they would reimburse me. I call my bank back and they tell me that I now was double charged by the bank, but now they can put in a deferment even though yesterday they said they couldn't because my account was closed. Now I'm even more negative the lady tells me I can come and take money out and she will waive the fees. I need gas and food for my 3 kids I took out 50 dollars and now I'm even more negative supposedly I now have to wait 10 business days to get my money back that was taken from a closed account. Why am I paying for this if someone fraudulently used a debit card that was canceled for a hotel. Now I'm suffering g and my kids.

I am a 25 year customer with ********************** Bank and have done millions of dollars in transactions with them over that time. In May of 2023 and May of 2024. I personally went to my local branches to make a mortgage payment on a rental property I own. In May of 2023 it was the Redwing Mn. branch and in May of 2024 it was the ********* Wi. branch. I always make my mortgage payments in person at the branch. I gave my account number to the teller that was working on those particular days and both times the teller gave me the wrong payment information and so the payments I made were short of the amount due by a few dollars. Because of these small amounts missing from the payments made Associated Bank treated them as missed payments and had them marked as late on my credit reports even though I made the payment amount I was told was due that day in person, and these payments were made on time not late. I believe that these simple errors were not my fault as I was being instructed by an employee of the bank at my local branches as to what was due to the bank on my account that day. I believe these are clearly the banks errors and I would like the bank to make the corrections to my credit information as to show these payments were made on time, as I paid the exact amount I was told I owed. Both corrected amounts were paid immediately after the bank discovered the mistakes but they never corrected the credit report on my behalf.

I am former customer of ********************** **** of Wisconsin my account was opened in *********, **. I closed the account July 5, 2023 because I relocated to another state where i still reside.Unbeknownst to me, someone at Associated **** re-opened the account without my knowledge, permission or authorization a month later in September 2023. I was not notified or made aware any of this had happened as I live in another state. In January 2024 Associated **** charged me for an ACH transaction of $120 from AAA ************* I still have AAA ************ which is paid from a different account and has been for a year now. Not only did this happen but they put the account into collections and charged off the account sent the collection to Certegy just recently. I recently had a problem all of sudden with cashing a check and found out this all happened. I now have a negative **** with Certegy for no reason at all. The bank is giving me the run around, they have no explanation of whom actually re-opened the account and told me they can see the date it was closed on July 5, 2024. They want me to call AAA ************ but why would I do that. I explained if I closed the account the bank cannot by law re-open an account without my signature, permission or authorization. Why did they wait so long to charge me, charge off the account with no notification to me? But, nothing that comes through a closed account from 6 months earlier is paid from a closed account ever. It is returned closed account. ********************** **** has no explanation for their part, who re-opened the account because they can see the name of the employee but won't tell me who did it only, I am responsible and they can't help resolving this issue, they are refusing to fix this issue, remove the charge off and collection with Certegy. Again, this is not my fault. A closed account by a customer means the customer closed the account and it remains closed. I am seeking help in resolution.

I have an auto loan with Associated Bank. They sent me a notice of no payment in April 2024. I have proof of payment plus a copy of my payment being deposited by the company. I have called them many times to settle this issue. I have also faxed many copies to them to showed that they received my payment and deposited the check. They have started to ruin my credit and charged me a late fee for a payment that has been received. Id really like them to their job and make it right, or Ill be forced to hire an attorney if need be.
