I had a hair appointment on April 30, 2024 with a new technician ("Sarahr" - weird spelling) at a new location with Neroli Salon and Spa at ******. There was no discussion of their cancellation policy which requires a 3-hour window. I typically make hair appointments in the afternoon which would have saved the expense, but this was in the morning. The salon opens at 9am. I'm thinking of filing a lawsuit against the business for charging 50% without any notification of their policy prior to the appointment. The consumer has rights and this salon violated those rights, especially in the case of illness, in which they elect not to waive charges for health. So for a $79 haircut plus $20 for a brow tint, they are collecting almost $60. This makes absolutely no sense. I requested a copy of the transaction and they asked for my Email. They have not provided a copy. So they are very negligent in following up with customer requests but quick to pocket the cash. This is a shameful display of a business which I will never visit again. I am going to make sure that everyone I know is aware of their policy for cancellation. I pay 50% and then they rebook by calling in another customer to take over my spot. That's 50% + 100% for the appointment. But I never see the credit. That's how they operate. It's positively shameful and unprofessional. But I absolutely know they do this. Also, I demand a breakdown for the penalty charge. Please give it to me line by line. Do you add tax? Do you add tip also? I need the charges spelled out because my math doesn't add up to the charge. And yours shouldn't either.
