To me I think they are a scam, the reason I say this. They send you an email you've got x amont of dollars from the law suite. Email says claim here so I did the website only gave me 1 option virtual debit card only to find out later that you could get a paper check. Called them emailed them. You made the decision to take the card. Their website didn't give you 2 options only one. I'll never trust them again. From all the reviews it looks pretty bad on them

A.B. Data has reviewed this matter and we have determined that the claimant is correct in that the website only did leave one payment option (digital payment), but there were instructions on the case website under the *** webpage and How do I request a paper check? section that described how to request for a paper check instead of a digital payment. There was also a pre-payment email that went out to claimants that included a link to the *** webpage on how to request a check instead. On August 14, 2023, we flagged the claimant for a check. We later discovered on August 22 that they had already redeemed their originally requested digital payment, so the check was cancelled. If the user read the details on requesting a check on our website or would have contacted us to request a check before accepting the digital payment, then they would have received a check.

I was contacted by a law firm regarding the Provigil class action suit. I filled out the paperwork and waited. For years. It settled over two years ago. And I waited while AB Data handled the payout. After some time I went on the website as we are instructed. That hasn't been updated since 2019. If you call the number you get scripted answers. Emails are ignored. After two years I finally got an answer. Somehow I had two claim numbers so they threw one out. Then I was told I didn't qualify for the national case, but I'd get a check from the California case. I've never lived in California. Then I was told I did qualify for the national case, but my payout was less than $10 so I wouldn't get a check. I was on this med for 20 years at $50 a month. Then I was told I would get a check from California in thirty days. That was 2 1/2 months ago. I believe this was all grossly mishandled by this company. Now I again cannot get a response from this company.

Dear ********************* ************. administers class action court awards. We are required to, and strictly do, adhere to the court ordered claim processing and distribution timing and steps. Scripted *********** answers are based on the information provided in documents approved by the court. Our claim processing department has reviewed your complaint and claim material. You filed your claim twice, filed identical claims, once online and a second claim by hard copy mail. Only one claim can be considered. A *********** Rep would have told you that you would be paid from ********** as you filed for **********. However, you filed your claim as both National and **********. Filing for both National and ********** was incorrect and is what caused the issue. Your claim is valid and is on our list of claims that will be handled with the reserve specifically created for resolving any issues following the initial distribution. Error claims will be handled at the conclusion of the initial distribution in the next few months. This is the processing format we are to follow. ******* Class Action must and does adhere to the process, format and timing set by the court. We sincerely hope this explains the situation and resolves your concerns. Sincerely,

PLEASE READ In the email that I or we all received there was a Claim # that we were told to add to the claim form we fill out. In my past experiences, the claim # we were told to add to the claim form we fill out is for one specific person only. These numbers are for one person or claimant. I think that's where the issue is to be honest. This is what was in the email I received :Please note your Notice ID Number is ***********. You will be requested to provide your Notice ID Number on your Claim Form, which will be used to expedite the validation of your claim submission.see it states " YOUR NOTICE ID NUMBER" that is for a specific person. So each time this is entered the person that this number is for is obtaining the reward. Thats why these gift cards are $0.00 balance. BBB look into this as thats the issue

Thank you for sharing your concerns. *************, does class action claim administration for many court cases. In each case, the court gives us precise administration instructions for that specific case. We are required to follow those instructions. This concern has been brought to my attention. However insufficient information was provided and we are unable to identify the specific case. I personally have contacted the Reviewer via e-mail requesting more information.
