Hello, I have used Zimmers for years but began to have problems with service, after texting with **** he suggested closing account and pay out $675 to which I agreed, problem is have not received check. Thank You, ***********************Business response

After going through our files there is not Landscaping contract for services with *** for trimming trees and cleaning his gutters we do have a open Snow contract so if he would like to close that contract we will do so but also add in the cancellation fee for closing the contract.Customer response

Owner of Zimmerslandscaping wrote 3 contracts for:1. Trim shrubs and fall yard cleanup signed/ dated 10/302020. I paid with a check for $175.00 - full amount. WORK NEVER COMPLETED. Money not returned.2. 11/02/2020 Contract for installation of decorative stone in front yard for cost of $1,650.00. Down Payment by check 1/2 of the cost for $850.00. WORK NEVER COMPLETED! Money not returned!3. Contract signed 10/30/2020 for ****************** driveway. His crew did snow removal 10 times @ $45per visit. I wasnt billed for the work. I spoke with the owner several times and emailed and texted him about the work he didnt complete and he promised me he would continue working with me. Owner told me he was opening a new Business and changed the name because he had so many bad Reviews for Zimmerslandscaping!I have not heard from him in months, nor received my money back.Business response

Hi the customer did have work scheduled and yes she did put the down payment down and then COVID-19 hit and backed everything up changing pricing of everything.
when work was going to be rescheduled the customer did have many doctor ************ for some surgeries that she was going to have at that time communication pretty much came to an end I assumed because of The numerous surgeries that she was having.
at any time the customer has always texted me or called and I have always answered her if she wouldve asked for a refund she wouldve got a refund. This is the first time that I am hearing about her looking for a refund and if that is what she would like then that would be fine we would just need to know what she would like to do.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My response to the 4/08/2022 from the Owner of Zimmerslandscaping:Im requesting full Refund of a total of my down payments of $1000.00 for two Breeched Contracts.One contract was for trimming shrubs and removal of leaves off property into street before last pick up by the city. I paid in full price of $175.00. ( Check #****)( contract dated 10/30/2020). As a result of him not performing the yard cleanup it caused significant damage to my lawn and killed the flowers his crew planted in the East Garden.Second contact:Installation of decorative stone in front of new retaining wall. Total cost estimate $1,650.00. I paid half of the cost of estimate for sum of $825.00.( Check # ****)The contract was dated 11/02/2020.Several text messages were sent especially regarding the fall yard cleanup and many went unanswered.I had Several phone calls with **** and at one time he told me he was transitioning to a different Company. But claimed he would continue to work with me. He never contacted me to find out when he was going to start the installation of Decorative Stone.Yes I had several significant health issues which required surgeries insignificant as to him fulfilling his Contracts.Im requesting full refund of the $1000.00 for work he didnt complete/ Breech of Contracts.Thank youSincerely,
