We ordered furniture from ************* with Ryder being the only offered delivery service. After 6 months of delays, Ryder scheduled delivery for 06/23/2022 from **** pm. I called Ryder at ************ after waiting until 2:30 pm. I was on hold for 31 minutes and while speaking with a CSR, the Ryder truck cruised right by our condo's front door and the lady on the phone ASSURED me the driver would call if he needed assistance. I called back after waiting outside to flag the truck down. The truck never came back, and the driver never called. I called Ryder again and was told that the driver reported we were not home. Two adults took off work for this furniture delivery only to have a lazy employee make it all for nothing. What a joke. We want our delivery fee refunded. The delivery fee was $199.00. The total we paid for furniture and delivery is $2,821.67. Since this driver has now stolen our furniture, we seek the entire amount from Ryder. This place is unprofessional and unethical.Initial Complaint

Business rescheduled a delivery without talking to me. The voice mail stated the driver did not put my item on the truck. The delivery was scheduled 3 weeks prior so that I could schedule my day off from work. I was able to speak to customer service however thier only solution was to schedule another date. This is unprofessional and I will have to waste a other vacation day to accommodate another delivery date. My time off is very important to me and wasting vacation time because of their error should not be my problem. I have still not received and call from a manager.
