I should have run from this place the minute I arrived with my two dwarf rabbits and the vet tech told me she was expecting husky puppies because of how it was coded in their computer. The vet tech was super friendly but she had to leave the room abruptly as she was very allergic to rabbits and started having trouble breathing. *********** was nice but he did not seem to have experience with rabbits. When he started the exam, my pet jumped off the table onto the hard floor. ************ was completely surprised by this even though I had been telling the staff my concerns with how difficult it was to handle my rabbits. Finally after my pet fell to the floor a second time, he got a tech to help him finish the exam. He said nothing about my pets bloody lip from the fall. I was in shock that I brought my pet in for a wellness visit and because the staff did not take the necessary precautions, they left in worse shape than they arrived. There also were a lot of hidden costs. I was told the price of a vaccine but then it ended up being double because they need two doses. Nail trims were an extra charge which was not mentioned when I scheduled and asked about pricing. I was charged twice as much for the spay than what I was quoted three different times. When I questioned the doubled price, I was told I could pay it or surrender my pets. I have no problem paying for services, but it seems sketchy that they are not upfront about the actual cost. Both times I went to this place the bill was double what I was quoted when I scheduled. On top of it all, the receptionists were extremely unprofessional, and spoke in a condescending manner. I should have listened to my gut after the first appointment but I tend to think the best in people and give a second chance. But after a disastrous second visit, I will never be returning. I hope this place can learn to be more honest about their charges and learn how to speak to their customers in a kind and respectful manner.
