So over a week I have been unable to access certain bank pages. Had numerous phone calls with technical support and the problem is on their end with security access with a third party apparently. They can not give me any timeframe of when this will be resolved.Bertram Communications, LLC Response

This company is awful. I've had them unfortunately, for 7 years because we live out in a rural area. The internet quality is horrible, we have average less then 10 MBPS. The service goes down constantly and they won't help adjust your bill for missed usage. I've called for them to come and fix the connection from the modem which comes loose all the time, and they want to charge 50 bucks for a service fee. I'm not the one who installed this equipment, why would you charge me to fix it. Finally we got Star Link in our area, hooked that up and it's a night and day difference. It averages **********. So I call Bertram to disconnect and come get their equipment. Their response was either charging me again to come get their equipment or having me go up on the roof to uninstall their equipment, then ship it or drive it to their business. Ultimately whatever decision I choose, I have to pay to cancel and get them their equipment back. Terrible customer service and care. Never use this company.Review from Josh C

Regarding my internet service, I had been receiving speeds north of 50 down and 25 up from Mercury Internet for $95.00 a month. Bertram took over and the service billing was increased to $110.00 a month. Then my speeds slowed down to 15 down and 7 or 8 up. When I asked what was going on, I was informed the speeds were being better managed. I was then informed that in order to get 50 down and 15 up, my monthly bill would be $150 a month. My monthly internet expense has increased from $95.00 a month to $150.00 a month and I am still not where I was before Bertram took over in regard to speeds. When I lodge disfavor with employees on the phone, there are a lot of words but no effort to restore customer satisfaction. Nothing for me to do except make note of my experience for others to see.Review from Katie T

Always down or slow, using for a business. Recently they claimed everything was working fine and would not send someone or let us speak to the owner, we had to pay an outside IT company to work with Bertram to decipher the problem for them. We had to pay $857.19 to ************** and there were additional costs for paying employees who could not do their job and lost business because we couldnt access our programs. They are refusing to reimburse ** for the IT invoice and I sent them the itemized invoice showing our IT people worked with theirs to find the problem which was theirs. I think it reasonable I am even willing to take a credit towards internet in the future. They are ignoring **. They are awful.Review from Dan P

was with mercury network for over 5 years.... great speeds and excellent service..... come 2023 betram bought out mercury..... now internet never works, speed is reduced to a crawl and can barely stream 360p you tube. they raised prices and turned the service to crap. any call to tech support blamed my equipment which is commercial grade stuff that was NEVER THE ISSUE! the issue is BERTRAM is not good at all and you can not trust what they say. Got t mobile 5g home internet and cant be happier. so long bertram you will be losing many more customers. you have my word!Review from Calvin C

Bertram Internet is garbage!!! This company is unprofessional, dial-up is better than this company’s Internet!!! I was a customer of MercuryNet, it’s a company out of Michigan, and Bertram took over the Wisconsin part of MercuryNet. Imediately after Bertram took over my Internet, turned to garbage. I was a very happy customer with MercuryNet for more than five years!!! Once Bertram took over one of the people I talk to confirmed I was being metered at 30 Mb per second, and MercuryNet never metered its customers! I am paying $100 a month and the speeds have been as low as 10 Mb per second never more than 25 Mb per second for $100 per month!!! My brother has Spectrum he pays $46 a month for between 100 and 200 Mb per second Bertram is a rip off they are very unprofessional when there is a problem with your Internet, they never call you back and now, because of me complaining a man named Terry from Bertram called me and said they were tired of my complaining, and they are canceling my service!!! Anybody that gets involved with Bertram is going to have nothing but problems, and be overcharged, while being treated poorly and unprofessionally, when there is a problem!!! Was with Mercury net for nearly a decade with NO issues... Paid a LOT ($100.00/mo), but the service was better than any I've experienced anywhere else, and this account is RURAL. Enter Bertram... They bought Mercury Net... Sent me a notice that my price would go UP and my speed would be cut in HALF to prevent "drops" which I experienced less than 5 times in 10 years.... None of which were caused by traffic or bandwidth issues. Now I have the EXACT same equipment, still branded "Mercury", as as mentioned I pay MORE. and I lose service at LEAST once per day... Sometimes it's intermittent, kicking me offline 4 or 5X per hour on bad days (usually nights when customer service is non existent and ironically, the traffic should be next to nothing in my rural area. A call to Mercury would result in the tech accessing my router, the radio, and the tower equipment... Always resulting in a work-around to restore service in REAL time... Bertram usinf my SAME equipment takes my call and issues a "service ticket"... One recent call resulted in me finding the issue after the ticket was issued... A tech called me THIRTY HOURS later to "resolve" my problem! I've been the happiest customer in the internet world for YEARS. It's only been two months since Bertram entered my world and it's a NIGHTMARE to work from home. These people seem to have no clue as to what they are doing... T-Mobile, Get your a**es out to my neck of the woods. Looking forward to trying 5G home internet ASAP.Review from Jeremy V

LIARS! They make up the most hideous excuses and stories and talk circles, they can't even keep their stories straight or remember what they have told you 5 minutes ago. I have been with them for 11 years and they cancelled me out of the blue. They just needed to free up space so they had to cancel lowered paying customers to keep their higher paying customers. They blamed birds pecking at my cable and that is why water was getting in. Hahaha, what fools. Funny how birds never pecked at our antenna cable and that has been up on our roof for over 17 years. You know birds pick and choose which cable to peck at. Truthfully, it was due to their poor equipment. I have never experienced poor reception but yet they say they couldn't get a signal...just like that. Snap of a finger. I was nothing but a VERY loyal customer to them and what do I get...a smack in the face. If you go with them just be prepared for all their LIES AND EXCUSES! Shame on you Bertram. You deserve to loose all your customers.

We worked with this customer for a solid 2 months with over $300 in man hours and equipment, doing everything in our power to get a solid signal. We, like every Wisp in the nation, are being impacted by Helium miners using the 900mhz range. This has forced us to move out of that frequency completely to eliminate the interference it causes for our networks. Unfortunately higher frequency ranges that we have moved to were unable to support this customer since her property is bracketed by trees. We tried to get over the trees by mounting a 20ft antenna on the top of her roof but were unable to get a solid signal for her. We would have loved to retain the customer but were simply unable to service her property. We explained this to the customer multiple times but she simply refused to understand.
