I hired Recreation Plus to pick up, winterize and store my boat. I was charged for all these services and paid the charges in January 2022. After asking several times about when my boat would be delivered, we went to the business to ask on Memorial Day weekend. At that time it was told to us that the boat was missing and likely stolen. The story we were given was an oil change occurred on November 1st and then the boat was stolen after that, prior to getting put in storage, likely by a disgruntled employee. The business did not realize the boat was missing until May, when going to look for it. It was told to us that it was realized the boat was missing 3 days before we showed up to ask but only told to us when we showed up. We never received a call indicating there was a problem.Understanding things like this need to work through a process, there has been no communication from the Company unless initiated by us. The cover to my lift was also taken off by the Company (as agreed upon) but place in the boat and also is gone. We had skis, boat lift keys and miscellaneous other items in the boat as well.Not only did we have this boat for less than 1 year, but now we are notified in May when the business has told us it was likely stolen in November. We are in a bind to find a new boat and given rising costs and low inventory, will not be able to find a similarly priced and quality boat.
