They said we signed a form to have them to pay our lease because we were bought out to them. Our Kia dealer said they did not do it. Every month paid more then the lease amount . We found all this out when we had to file chapter 7. We asked for a copy of what they said we signed but they won't show us. We over paid so we would like a refund of any money's they kept. The kia finance said some company sent our payment every month but they kept no record of who it is. I can't believe a company runs the company that way.Review from Dwight K

Please do yourself a favor and do not join this credit union. They are very deceptive and discriminatory in their practices. They will require certain things from one person that they will not require from another person. Their application will ask for identification requirements and once you meet those requirements, they will come back and ask you for different requirements which contradict their application. I tried to join to open a savings accnt. Their online application was pretty easy. When I got to the ID requirement part of the application this what they asked for Please attach an image of your valid government-issued photo ID and proof of your SSN (Social Security Card or Passport page). If your current address is not reflected on your ID, please provide an image of a current bill or other 3rd party proof of address. I gave DL and passport page. The next day I get a email saying they could not run my credit because I had a security freeze on it. I called and asked why do they need to run my credit? I’m only opening a savings account. They said they needed to run my credit for verification purposes. I said OK as long as it’s only a soft pull. After Running my credit, they send another email asking for a copy of my SS card and utility bill for proof of address. I called them once again and question why do you need these two things, according to your application I uploaded my passport page and drivers license which it clearly said were options on the application proof of your SSN (Social Security Card or Passport page). If your current address is not reflected on your ID, please provide an image of a current bill or other 3rd party proof of Address My current address is accurately on my license. After speaking to a manager I could not get a clear understanding on why I was being singled out for all this info to open a savings account. I’m giving money, not asking for money. Hope they are not scammers because they have all my info and I have nothingReview from Gerard H

Absolute nightmare in dealing with CCU. We opened 5 year CD's and in less than this time they decided to consider our accounts "abandoned property". They 100% lied when we asked them to provide information on how thy attempted to contact us. They couldn't provide the information, times, dates, methods, even though we've dealt with them across multiple type of accounts. We've spent the last two days fighting with them to provide documented assurance that our funds are still in their institution, but somehow they can't provide the proof. They're a major nightmare to deal with. AVOID CONNEXUS!!!Review from Joanna B

I am an RV dealer and work extensively with banks and credit unions across the country. Based on my experiences handling a payoff for a mutual customer, it seems as if Connexus Credit Union is employing unethical and deceptive practices to prevent loan payoffs. Despite being provided all the authorization they requested to allow our dealership to handle the payoff on behalf of the customer, and the customer giving additional phone authorization multiple times, they continued to withhold payoff instructions. Each time I called, they would have a different excuse of why they wouldn't let us submit the wire transfer (guaranteed funds) payoff that day, with supposed processing times pushing the payoff back. Meanwhile, the entire time, continuing to profit from daily interest. If you are a customer here, know your installment contract! If you have the right to early payoff, which most contracts now should have, you have the right to pay off the loan at any time! Advocate for that- banks do not have the right to deter you from paying off your loan.Review from Michelle G

Based on my own experience I had a positive experience with Connexsus Credit Union. I received a lower interest rate than **** ****** ****** ***** by Half the percentage in fact. I was able to submit my Loan application online it's only $5 to open a savings account to become a member. They have very low overdraft fees I think they said it was only $4 versus $40 that banks charge. I just became a member for an Auto Loan the people in ********* **** branch were very helpful and friendly and Damien ******* who was my loan Agent was fantastic and communicative and I was able to get my loan in 3 days maybe some people can close faster but I'm an over the road truck driver and was trying to get stuff they needed inbetween stops.Review from Brent C

They canceled our auto pay, we missed payments due to this. It lowered our credit scored by 90 points. They justified by stating we sent mail and phone calls. Never received. Very shady company, hurting hard working people for their benefit seems to be their specialty.Review from Georgette N

I called Connexus customer service recently to ask how quickly a new CD would start to earn interest. It was a general, non-controversial, non-account specific question. If Connexus knew how to create a website, the answer would be public information, eliminating the need to call. I was confronted by someone best described as a cross between a liar and a pansy whose only goal was to convert a routine inquiry into a disaster. He began by repeatedly interrupting me, accusing me of yelling, which was a lie. I noted that his interrupting was the problem. Of course, a functioning person would already know better--or at least be trainable. Instead, like a light had gone off in the head of a weak-sister monkey, he proceed to talk over me as though it was his best shot at blowing up a call--his big accomplishment for the day. Then this fool--who never should have been hired and should be fired--hung up on me. This is a classic example of an idiot so determined to remain an idiot that an intelligent voice at normal volume sounds loud to them. He was actually allergic to intelligence. As a real customer service representative who is as good at shopping as I am at saving, I have since found there are much better places than Connexus. If there is any chance this person could answer the phone when you call, you should too.
