      May 13,2023 The provided service for a small leak under the bathroom sink. It took two mean 3.5 hours to replace a coupling on the pipe. The pipe continue to leak and they slso cracked the pipe,which caused more damage. We were asked to pay by cash app in the amount of $664.25

      The current month is December and this is a job that was done in MAY. We have never been contacted back from this customer stating there was any issues with the work done. The customer signed the bill which means they were okay with the work done and okay with paying the price. We TEST and CLEAR every job for leaks before we bill in which we did on this job meaning there was not any leaks when we left the residence. Adkins Plumbing has NOT been further contacted by this customer stating that there was ANY leaks. If there was any issues the customer should have contacted us  back after the job not wait 7 months and then just decide to send a complaint to the BBB.

      Stated $150/hour for 2 techs and $79 service fee plus parts needed, when they got there it became $125/per person, per hour and one was a "helper" not tech. Charge for a travel fee and a service call not agreed upon and upcharged the wax ring, one bolt and one supply line for $69. They charged 3 1/2 hours after telling us their truck broke and they had to go out for parts. They weren't even there for 3 1/2 hours. Transaction 12/30/22.

      Adkins Plumbing resolved the issue with the homeowners and issued a full refund. Here is text messages saying they received the check back in the mail: see attached.

      12/27 date of service I was charged for three and a half hours of service, but they were only here for 2 hours and the last half hour the service technician was looking at swords and knives that I had for sale. They did not provide any upfront pricing. They charged a 2-hour minimum for use of their "eel" and did not tell me that up front. They charged a travel fee and did not tell me that up front. They charged a service fee and also a credit card fee. If they were going to charge me minimums, they should have told me up front how much anything would have cost. I am willing to pay for the amount of service that I got, but I do want it to be accurate. I have attached pictures from my ring doorbell showing when they arrived and when they left. When I contacted the company about it, they're saying they charge from the time they leave the shop to the time they get back and that they didn't have to tell me anything up front and that it's all in the fine print, which I didn't get any sort of a contract or anything. I just got a written invoice.

      At the end of the day on 12/27/22 ******** ******** was a happy paying customer. She signed and read over her bill when the job was completed. Which means she had no problem paying. If she did not like the pricing of the job she should have not signed her bill. She never asked about our pricing. She just wanted someone out to fix her issue which in fact was an EMERGENCY as listed on ******* ****. I have attached a picture of it saying so. We usually charge additional fees for emergency calls because all of the other calls prior to that one have to be pushed back to a later date. *** ******** was not charged for an emergency call status. She was charged just like every other customer is. It is not our fault that she did not bother asking about any pricing. When you buy anything do you not check the pricing of the item before paying? *** ******** was not overcharged in anyway. Adkins Plumbing no wrong doings in this job.
