My husband and I signed a new construction building home contract with Best Builders on 6/1/20. The sales realtor with Best Builders, ***************************, informed us that the first 4 houses in the new development received Propane back-up on heat pump HVAC and was included in the total house purchase of $3250.00. We were never told that we were going to have to go with a specific company to get our propane tank filled when needed. After being in our house over a year received a bill from ***** for a tank rental fee of $106.00. My husband called in and explained the situation. A few days they called me and said to disregard the bill. We were under the impression that they were in the wrong for billing us. Well, we received another bill from ***** for a tank rent. My husband called in and they said we were responsible for paying this bill because they placed there tank in our yard. Then after that conversation, they have the nerve to send us a propane tank lease agreement. Why in the world would you send this after 2 and half years of us living at this property. We were never told we had to use a specific company for propane. We were under the impression that the propane back up tank came with the house per our contract. There is no sticker or contact information on the tank either. At settlement we were given a customer copy of all names and numbers for warranties and utility companies and ***** Energy was not on that list. There wasn't any company listed for propane on the list. We would like ***** Energy to zero out this tank rental bill. We would also like ***** Energy to stop billing us for a tank rental when we never signed a contract with their company because we were not made aware of that we had to use this company.Customer response

Hello.
I have not received any kind of communication from ***** Energy. I have a feeling they are not replying to you all because they are in the wrong.

Bought a new dual sided gas fireplace through my contractor LJ Homes. The fireplace was installed by Roach Energy in Oct 2022 but was missing brick side panels which were backordered.I received a call in December 2022 notifying me they had come in and Roach asked if the could install them end of December. I informed them I would not be in town and they scheduled the appointment for January 19th between 9-10am.On the 19th no one showed for the appt. I then called the office and was told someone from their office came out end of December but was unable to gain access to my house. They left the panels with my contractor but now they are unwilling to come out and install them with out a service fee. I learned from the contractor that Roach came out end of December to work on a neighbors installation and tried to do my work at same time to save them the return in January.So now I can't get Roach to complete my installation when none of the above circumstances were any fault of mine. Roach wants to deal with LJ Homes who is not responsible for this install.Please help
