Beware of this company. Contracted a 12K job in Oct 2020. Filed a court case against them in Aug 2020; completed and won the case in Jan 2022; and finally got paid, but only after garnishing the owner’s bank accounts. They poorly installed the sprinkler system, the sod, and the xeriscaping –weed barrier, rock, edging and dripline. The owner never returned to check the project a single time through the install. I made him aware of the multiple issues within the first couple of days of the project – but the majority of these issues were not addressed. The xeriscaping was poorly installed including rock blocking 2 of 3 gates. They installed 4 instead of the planned 6 sprinkler zones, which caused the sod to quickly start dying as the sprinkler zones were not installed to provide full coverage. Owner agreed to fix everything in the Spring - but only after repeated requests– they responded mid June. Upon looking at the project, he tried to blame all of the issues on the well and pressure of the house (which was not the problem), and his installer. The timer was defective, but because owner refused to provide the receipt to the manufacturer, I had to replace it out of pocket. Not to mention the unprofessional nature exhibited by the company. I asked for a refund for half the install (which was based on multiple quotes to fix the issues). He refused to complete and fix the poor install, would not refund anything, and then had an attorney send a letter that he considered the job completed, working as expected, and threatened me to not push the issue further. In Aug of 2021, I filed a small claims court case. The case was drawn out from Sept 2021 through Jan 2022. The judge’s ruling was overwhelming in my favor. Even after the judgement –I received a threatening letter stating that they didn’t agree with it and would not pay unless I agreed to take less than the court ordered judgement. I then had to garnish bank accounts, and his employer’s wages, and got paid May 2022.

Ms. *********, We respectfully request that you move along and leave Q Lawn alone. You had your day in court. You got your free sprinkler system. You have been paid so there is no further reason for your continued harassment through reviews. You posted numerous reviews last year against us and filed your BBB complaint (twice) – nothing more needs to be said. If you choose to continue this harassment, we will be forced to contact our attorney again and turn over the 10-page list of 1-star reviews you have left against every company you’ve dealt with as well as the 43 pages of text messages proving you have berated us, hassled us, harassed us and basically pushed us until we didn’t want to deal with you any longer. If we are forced into this, it will include a harassment suit against you. Please just move along and go find something else to do.
