My mother in law paid $2150 for a water pump to be changed. The owner told me it calls for 16 hrs of work. We are now going on 56 business hrs. For a car that still has not been touched. This is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. The owner is the worst to deal with absolutely horrible customer service. Honestly just want the car done or money back and I'll do it myself. Also claims things are wrong with something when nothing is wrong with other parts, just to charge more money. They are thievesBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because:
The owner has the worst attitude. I tried calling to ask a few questions and got my head ripped off for nothing. He even told me to never call again. And to top that all off I called 1 time. It was supposed to take 16 hrs not 56 hrs. What am I missing here. In fact I should have recorded the phone call that he was yelling at me for asking a few questions.
Regards,

I purchased an engine to be installed in my truck. I received a quote from Tigers Automotive of $3000 to install the engine. I drove my truck to the location to have the engine installed. First they couldn't get the torque converter off of the old engine and I was required to purchase a new torque converter. Then they bent the radiator and ruined it. They made me pay for a new radiator. Then the fuel lines got bent and I was required to purchase new fuel lines and a cooler to cool the fuel lines. They couldn't get the engine to run so Tigers Automotive took it to Whisler Chevrolet, a Chevrolet dealership to have it diagnosed. I had to pay Whisler Chevrolet to get the truck back. I had the truck taken back up to Tigers Automotive so that they could fix the problem That Whisler's found with the transmission that Tigers Automotive caused when the torque converter wasn't lined up with the transmission pump when the engine was installed. While waiting for their guy to fix the transmission. Tim Salazar and I had a disagreement, on December 4th, and I was told that I was being charged $50 a day storage for my truck being on their lot. I was told that I would not be allowed to pick it up until the storage fees and transmission repairs were paid. To the best of my knowledge my truck is still not fixed I've paid close to ten thousand dollars and still can't drive my truck off of the lot from where it's at. I was told I could not set foot on that property again. I am 73 years old and have done mechanic work my whole life but I am not able to do such heavy work anymore. I was never given exact receipts from Tigers Automotive for the parts that I was required to purchase. The only receipt I have is the receipt from Whisler Chevrolet. The other receipts are quotes from the part store for the parts that were replaced.Business response

Clay,
Thank you for your response.
My issue with the business' response is that the payment went directly to the business owner Tim Salazar. I purchased the engine brand new and if you read the explanation from Whisler Chevrolet it states that the engine was not installed properly. My dad was not aware that the person installing the engine was not an employee. He represented himself as an employee. We needed a mechanic shop to install the engine to uphold the warranty, therefore would not have had a non mechanic install the engine. Two of my brothers are diesel mechanics and they could have installed the engine but it would have voided the warranty. Every payment went into Tim Salazar's pocket. My father is still receiving text messages from Tim Salazar that are semi threatening about how much the storage bill is going to be for him storing the truck and the old engine. The old engine needs to be returned for the core charge. Tim is not allowing the return to take place. We had the job lined up with another shop and Tim Salazar said his shop could do it faster so we had it moved to Tigers Automotive to have it done. This all has turned into a money pit.
Please review the additional paperwork from Whisler Chevrolet again.
Thank you for your time,
Mary Stassinos / Lloyd Adams
