The business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer either a) did not accept the response, OR b) did not notify BBB as to their satisfaction.

Date start: October *** - *** and Monday the *** Company failed to excavate main well line, which resulted in loss of water upwards of a day. This caused complications with * horses, both of which had to be put down (impaction in intestinal tract main cause being dehydration, the other owner did not have funs to get vet care), massive bills to have emergency hydrovac and ******* repair well in the dark. Initial call into the company was met with that they do not work weekends and that I'll just have to wait until Monday around *am to get *************** lied about readily available material forcing only one option of *** in series *** line with assurance it can be pulled and fused. Pipe was found to have failed at roughly ** feet which is where the fuse would be. *** feet needed to make the hole. Company refused to warranty or help in repair stating multiple times our fuses never fail and we do not guarantee anything in the ground". Days later texted they would come stick a camera in it for $***/hour which is grievously overcharging for their own failed work. second hired ******* at $***/hour to diagnose and $**/hr to repair.Plumbers were noted to be not working or vacant from site for the majority of Thursday and Friday only to have them back on Monday with the wrong parts to do the job. Well excavation left unfilled for us to fill in the ******** threatening me to "pay your F'ing bill" over the phone when we tried to have the bill adjusted to what work was done. Multiple texts threatening us.weeks of income loss, Estimated $***** per week.Re-pull of lines estimated at $***** dollars. numbers attained from original company that did the directional drilling.Spigot install, Barn termination and Tie in done by second ******* cost $******* Repair and finish of failed lines cost ******** general Labor personnel, backhoe, bobcat and project management hours to aid cost still being added. site wont allow photo uploads to be added.

Mr. Mike's plumbing does not have honest pricing. They charge a $70 dispatch fee, then when they get to the door hit you with a $313 "diagnostic fee", and if you refuse service for their ridiculous pricing, you're out $70. THEY ALSO CHARGE A $30 FEE FOR THE TECHNICIAN TO USE HIS TOOLS. ??? Altogether, I was charged $434.14 for 30 minutes of work and for the technician to tell me that the AC was too old to be fixed... The technician was scheduled to come between 10:00am and 1:00pm on Tuesday, but didn't even show up until Wednesday. He also left the circuit board cover open to be rained on after he left. Unacceptable. Reliance, Knight plumbing, and JPS provided quotes of $100, and $140 for equivalent or better levels of service. I called in to seek a price reduction based on their poor, day-late service and ridiculous pricing, and had two customer service reps tell me that they're unable to provide a full quote up front because "the tech doesn't know what they have to diagnose until they see it". This is absolutely nonsense as the technician quoted $434.14 before stepping foot in the house. If the tech can provide it at the door (before seeing anything), they can provide it on the phone. I have called multiple times over the past few weeks seeking to resolve this, however each time I'm met with a customer service rep who says they'll "create a task for a manager to follow up". It has been weeks and I haven't received a single call back from them. There are many past reviews that mention their disingenuous pricing. You don't have to look very hard. Stay away. Garbage service, ************ pricing, terrible customer service. Do not use Mr Mike's for anything, there are plenty of honest plumbing/HVAC companies in Calgary that will give you a fair and up-front quote ********** ****** ********* **** etc.) They state that "We will beat any insured competitor’s rate by 10%." however have made no effort at all to honour this promotion. STAY AWAY.
