We spent $1300 plus taxes on two services with this company and don't feel we received a thorough inspection and service to warrant the money that was spent. After the recent storms in B.C. we had water coming into our basement and sought an inspection to check our drainage system. After hours (after 5 p.m.) incurred an additional $300 fee to use a camera and snake to check the system. The usual fee is $500. He spent an hour looking at the one area most likely where the water entered the basement but had difficulty getting the camera or snake very far into the line. He then recommended a follow up hydro flush which was done two days later. It didn't even take half an hour and it still cost $500 plus tax. We received a report needed for insurance purposes after having to request it several times. It said the system was now clear and the cause of the water problem was excessive rain over a short period of time that the system could not handle. A video was supposed to be provided. We continue to have water seep through the same spots and contacted a drainage specialist company. In my discussion with them it appears the inspection and treatment by this local company was insufficient and obviously requires a more thorough diagnosis and work that will require additional cost. We have since expressed our satisfaction to the owner/operator but he is not willing to admit the work was inadequate. His partner attempted to send us the video by e mail but it was not successful. We feel we were not given anywhere near adequate service for the exorbitant cost involved especially since the water continues to be a problem after a heavy rainfall.
