      If I could leave zero stars, I would!I was tasked with collecting funds to purchase a gift card for a work colleague as her Maternity gift. June 3rd, 2024, I accessed the Winners/TJX website to purchase online and have a hardcopy gift card sent to her at home. The website brought me to Buyatab, which I assumed was a trusted website. By June 21st, my colleague still had not received the $170.00 gift card. (Very awkward conversation to have to bring this up with her.) She verified with me that I had the correct mailing address, so I called the customer service line who told me they would mail out a replacement card immediately. On June 28th, my colleague told me she had received it! However, mid July, she contacts me to tell me how when she finally went to the store to use her gift card, she was told there was no money on it!HOW HUMILIATING FOR HER AND FOR ME! (Who has to explain to all of my work colleagues about this scam.)I reached out AGAIN to Buyatab and provided all receipts and numbers to them, who told me that they were only a third party and could not assist. I had to contact TJX directly. I did contact *** who told me they do not manage gift cards, Buyatab does. This is very frustrating and I am getting nowhere. Needless to say, my advice is to stay as far away as possible.

      They simply are total thieves, masquerading as good well meaning Chinese folk. They stole 60 bucks and then had the audacity of laughing at me.

      I tried to buy a ****** gift card for my dad twice for father's day. Both times the transaction was approved by my credit card company, but the transaction was declined by ******. I called their help number and they asked me to verify some personal information, which I did easily. But they said that they would be unable to provide a gift card and they could not give a reason unless they escalated the case to their supervisor, who could provide a reason within ***** hours. Within 48 hours they sent an email (pasted below), which clearly does not provide a reason and is just a generic information that I was provided on the phone. They clearly don't have a proper verification system; if my credit card company (with many more resources than Buyatab) approved the transaction, it makes no sense why it would be canceled. I will be following up with ****** to encourage them to use a different third party for their gift cards. There's a reason this company is not accredited by the BBB and has a score of 1 star... they are dysfunctional. --Hello, Thank you for taking the time to contact us.       I bought a $100 gift card my brothers wife tried to use at ******* twice. After the first time it failed and I communicated the issue with buyatab, she tried again this time confirming with customer service there was a balance on the card before shopping. Once at the cash to pay, the card didnt work again.I communicated the issue to buyatab again and they insisted it had a balance. I took the card and decided to redeem it myself. When I input the card number and PIN $50 showed as a balance on the card I paid $100 for. When I tried to spend that $50 on an order, there was an error, the card didnt work. Once again I connect with buyatab, they tell me $25 had been spent twice on April 5th (which didnt happen), and $50 was spent the night before (when I got the error message trying to use the card).Today they tell me this is a ******* issue and to contact them. I did that and was told by this ******* gift card support line that all of the ******* Canada systems were down and they couldnt help me. Useless. Really this is a buyatab problem, the businesses that allow their names to be used on the buyatab routing are secondary to the problem. I had no idea I had used a 3rd party buying agency until I had to connect with them. I never had the opportunity to ****** buyatab because I didnt know thats what Id purchased my gift card through as it shows as walmartcanadagc on my credit card. Thats the most aggravating part- it was trickery.Huge scam. Anyone who says they got their money back, any money back, they work for or know the owners.

      Bought a $150 gift card for ****** online on 11/26. ****** website takes you to Buyatab. Before I hit the payment submit button I called my local ****** to verify that Buyatab was where I was supposed to be, and was told it was okay. That card arrived, so I felt better about ordering the second one.Bought a second $150 gift card for ****** online on 11/28. By 12/5, based on my prior experience, I should have had the card. I called, and was asked to wait until the 18th. On the 18th I called to let them know I did not receive the card. Was asked to wait a few more days. This was my granddaughter's Christmas gift, so I had to go to the store and buy another $150 card.Here I am, 30 days, Christmas is over, still no card. **************** at ********************** exists only to put you off until 30 days have passed and your window of opportunity closes. I received one non-computer generated message back saying I could get a refund, get an e-card, etc. When I asked when my refund was coming, I get no answer. This place is crap!Finally contacted my credit card company to resolve. Waiting to see if the first card I bought will actually work.

      Bought an e-gift card for Saks Fifth Avenue on Saks website, but apparently it goes through BuyATab. BuyATab just told me over the telephone that error #*** means Saks is out of inventory for this item. An ecard.So, they have my $1000 and I have nothing but frustration. **** said I need to work through BuyATab.It was supposed to be delivered on 12/25 (Christmas). I bought it 12/2.Still nothing on 12/27.I will send a complaint through my credit card because they seem to do a good job with problems like this.It seems to me that when a business accepts your money and then will not deliver, it's called fraud.

      Chalk me up another one to this scam. I'm not guaranteed on whether it came from here, but make sure to check the credit card you used to purchase theses gift cards, because about 10 days later I had 4 unauthorized charges on my credit card and had to file a claim with my bank. Seriously losing faith in humanity!PS Of course never recieved the gift card.

      I orded a $200 giftcard from WholeFoods through buyatab **not knowing that they were not the service WholeFoods uses for giftcard purchases. I have gotten three different responses from each representative I call and it has been 3 weeks since my order. Do not use this website. Buyer beware.

      I would give them zero stars if possible! They took my money and never sent the card. Contacted them via phone and email after several weeks and was given the run around. Rude customer service. My credit card company is now in a dispute with them. Just stay away!
