Don’t expect these guys to do a good job for you unless you are spending 1000‘s of dollars with them. Spoke to Vern the owner in November about having having a 4 cylinder, 60 hp, 4 stroke Outboard rebuilt. He said that they would do the job. Powerhead was delivered to them November 22. They said they could have it done by early January. The did access the motor and told me what parts that I needed, but that took to Jan 7. They did not complete the job and after many call, each saying it will be another 2 weeks. When I callled this week, they said they don’t have any idea when they will get it done. They drop the small jobs to take new big one. When I went in to pick up my motor, parts were all over the place. What i got back was as the picture shows, a pulled apart motor, with, camshaft, rocker arms, pistons, and head in the bottom of the bucket and block sitting on top of them . Some parts in a box, unlabelled as to what position they came from.Any work that they did do, I now have to find someone to verify and redo, and access any damage that they did to good parts due to careless handling, and they have stuck me right where I did not want to be, with boating season a month away, and me with no motor. I CAN NOT SAY, THAT THESE GUYS ARE ANY GOOD! BEWARE!

Mr H****** seems to be confused on what we told him we could do for him. He called to see if we could repair the keyway on the crankshaft on his outboard motor. He brought it in and after inspecting it , we told him it would need to be disassembled and either send the crankshaft out for repair or replace the crankshaft. He advised us to disassemble the engine to check the rest of it out. He then brought another engine in to disassemble and use the crankshaft out of that engine. He then wanted to supply the parts needed to perform the work. He brought the parts in about 2 weeks ago , then proceeded to call every few days to see if we had assembled his motor. We informed him we would get to it when we could make time for it. We currently have 46 engines here to build , 18 of them are commercial vehicles that are down and not making the companies any money. Mr H****** engine is for a boat that will not be used for months to come. We advised him if he wanted to get the engine rebuilt somewhere else , he should come and pick it up. When he arrived at the shop , he walked right into the employees only area , found his engine boxed up and ready to go, carried it out and then proceeded to come back in and start searching for parts he thought were missing. One of my employees went out with him and showed him that he did in fact have all his parts. I resent the comments made by him on my business , I try every day to help customers get through problems they are having. Almost everyone of them appreciates that we are extremely busy and that we only have 4 employees to do all the work here. Further to this , Mr H****** did not (when he trespassed in my shop) even ask if he had an invoice for the 3.5 hours we spent on his engines , he just walked through and left. For your knowledge , I advised my people that we were not going to charge him for the work we had done. Hopefully he can find someone that will do the work for him on his timetable , not the real world timetable that businesses deal with every day. If he would like to dispute the events from when he entered our employees only area without permission , I will gladly show you my surveillance footage of him doing just as I described.
