* ** ******* ** ***** ** **** ********* ** issue regarding my account with Enercare Home Service. I bought out the hot water tank for $3,870.25 including tax on July 2, 2024. I confirmed with your agent at that time that there was no further outstanding balance on my account. However, on September 1, I received a mail stating that I owe a balance of $171.03. When I called Enercare, the agent informed me that it might have been a mistake since I had bought the tank on July 2. They assured me it would be corrected, and a new bill would be sent. Despite this, on October 22, I received an email from Enercare stating an overdue balance of $231.05. When I called again, the agent insisted that I owe this amount. I reiterated that I had bought out the hot water tank and there should be no further outstanding fees. The agent noted the case. Approximately two weeks ago, I received another call from an Enercare agent regarding an overdue notice. I again explained that I had bought out the tank. The agent mentioned they would escalate the case and stop all overdue messages, emails, and mail. Yet, I continue to receive notifications about an overdue amount, now stated as $291.82. This ongoing issue has been a nightmarish experience. Over the past five months, I have spent a considerable amount of time and effort trying to resolve this problem, enduring long wait times and repeated assurances with no resolution. The persistent overdue notifications have caused significant stress and discomfort.
