              BUYER BEWARE!!!!! We purchased a small condo size leather sofa. Very expensive!!! Not our first leather furniture. Within the year I put something barely lukewarm down on the arm of my sofa for 5 minutes. When I lifted it there were white markings left on the arm. I have had many leather sofas and this has NEVER happened before with much hotter dishes. When I contacted the company I was told they would not cover it since it was seen as "accidental". I replied that it was NOT accidental and it was due to defective coloring or material since it should not happen. They refused!! They came back with a ridiculous reply saying that good quality leather will do this????? REALLY??? If I take leather conditioner to it....it will rub out. NOT!!!!!! THE SOFA IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY BUT UPPER ROOM FURNISHINGS DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!

              The business used to be good. But lately the customer service took a nose dive.We bought a sofa back in May, we are way passed the estimated delivery and no information was given other than "be patient". They did have time to lecture us how "Furniture" business works and how those ETA in the paper means nothing really, we need to be patient.We only wanted some info (is it half done, is it half built?), but that's asking too much, so we feel that we should stop bothering them and go directly to the Ontario Consumer protection. It's not going to resolve much, I'm afraid.I can't recommend their business to anyone anymore (let alone friends). That was the last time for us.If you really want to do business with this company and try your luck, it's fine, everyone is free to do whatever they want. Just keep in mind the delivery dates don't mean a thing.
