In December 2021 I traded in a ***** **** ******* *** for something easier on gas for a 2017 Ford Escape. That was the beginning of a nightmare. Five days after purchase I called for information about the warranty I purchased with vehicle. Still never received an answer. I believe it was January when we received a downpour of rain and everything got bad from there. 1. Drivers side wiper flew off doing 80 km on the highway. Stopped to get one and found out the wipers were not the right ones for the vehicle. They were done for the mechanical. 2. Taillight filled with water. Told me it was not sold that way. We had zero rain. It was freezing until that downpour. 3. Buzzers going for no reason. 4. 2 drivers noticed something in the steering. 5. All headlight bulbs burnt in 1 week. 6. Sound when turning the key at times. 6 months of fear of that Escape! I have a Mental Illness and this was not helping. They were informed of this. I raised my voice and **** puffed out his chest and looked at me like he was ready to tackle me. I was triggered! Bullied and abused by men my whole life! I felt threatened yet challenged. New car...wrong car. Asked for it back or will cost them. I am honest. I returned it. It was another Dodge Journey. Picked it up and a week later found a well hidden bag of fish guts! They did mechanical and detailed it! I am 100 percent sure it was put there at the dealership. Still asking about warranty. Still no answers. The Escape was a replacement not a trade in! Costs me more. All said and done I am paying 54,000 for a 15000 dollar *** that is already rusting! Called about rust before Christmas. Still no response! I know there is more. 16 months of stress and fighting. I am mentally and emotionally done. I need a car because I cannot walk far. I am dropping this *** off and will know become a shut in and unable to even get to appointments! They have ruined my life. I have noone to help with rides! I am done! **** They pretend that never happened.
