We hired Flooring By Design to remove tile/carpet and install LVP and carpet. We contested some of the charges on the final invoices, but there was still a question about the actual square footage of the project we were being charged for. After going back and forth by email for a while, the owner said, "Hire someone else to measure if you don't believe me." So I had a third-party flooring company come in and do exact measurements of the project area which I provided to the owner by email. When the owner didn't respond after 2 days, I wrote a check based on the adjusted measurements and included a letter outlining why I was sending him the amount I was sending him. After receiving that check and letter, the owner sent me this email threatening to sue me if I left a "threatening review" of his company: "I told you I would not read any other letter or response. Wasted letter/response. When you leave the threatening review I will be prepared to copy and paste to that review everything we went through and all the crazy emails you sent. Then every book long email will turn it into a positive thing for our company. Then I will be forced to hire an attorney for a slander suit. It totally makes sense you hired a company based out of California to talk them into adjusting a quote. This is not a threat, this is what will happen should you choose to continue to push. I will also go after restock fees for the carpet quote you agreed to and asked me to order. I know a bit more but it will remain a mystery until it won't. So if you would like to hire Flooring By Design, I just encourage you to review the proposal and invoices very carefully and get everything in writing. And be especially aware that he may threaten to sue you if you leave a negative review, apparently even if it's an accurate/documented review.

Ok I have proof that it is all made up lies. The customer agreed to a quote with locations of materials noted in the quote. The plank job was complete and she threw a fit about the square footage on the invoice. I told her we only had one and a half boxes left over and that was normal. She the continued to argue. I told her to hire another company to figure the job and waste so she could see the truth. She said she did and then placed her own file of the square footage in a home made invoice system. I told her I would not accept that and it must have a company letter head on it to prove it was done by an accredited company. She could not and would not produce that information. I have four witnesses and a novel worth of emails and text from her to prove the truth. This person agreed to a quote and didn't want to pay. She also agreed to the carpet quote so I have special order carpet here and she has already had new carpet installed by another company. I would not schedule carpet until the plank was paid for and she was refusing to pay the bill so in the mean time she hired the other company. Seller be ware of this person she is out to take local family owned companies down unless the heavily discount the bills.
