            Arkansas Attorney General v. J & R Restoration and Landscaping
            On December 20, 2022 the Arkansas Attorney General filed a lawsuit in Pulaski County Circuit Court against Stephen Rast and his wife, Taylor Wells. The couple is doing business as J & R Restoration and Landscaping and R & B Design and Landscaping. Charges filed allege the business owners are in violation of the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act by failing to perform contracted services. The suit claims that Rast and Wells required down payments for home improvement projects, remodeling or landscaping, yet failed to complete the promised work or rarely even began the work. Additional claims include when the business owners were contacted by consumers regarding the services paid for, they would rarely receive a response. The matter is pending.

              In October 2022 I hired ******* ****, owner of R&S Construction to hang drywall. I provided a draw on the agreed price for materials. He took my money and ghosted me. He gave me excuses for 3 weeks about why he couldn’t come do the work I hired him to do. His wife even contacted me with excuses when I would call and text. Then they stopped responding when I asked for a refund so I could hire a reputable contractor to complete the work. I have discovered he has been sued several times for the same thing. He also changes his business name just enough that when I researched his business originally, I was unable to find anything negative.

              I paid for 1/2 of the fence materials through PayPal & Steven Wrast gave me one excuse after another as to why he couldn’t & never did show up so I filed a claim for refund & thankfully got my money back..Do NOT do any business with this felon, he’s a SCAMMER
